Citali grunted with icy anger. "Hmph. Well, I would call it suspicious, but can't seem to find that feeling inside my heart." Glade was only watching, not wanting to interrupt his sister and risk his ear of another injury, it would be shredded if her anger acted up on him again.
Citali sighed, anger gradually calming down. "Kesh, follow me. I want to show you something, it won't take long." Citali started to walk out into the rain once more, off towards the Twin Trees and the sacred Tor's Mirror.
It's such a shame... Citali thought, sighing humorously. Being the only Drappa in your Pack, it's like they expect you to do everything!

Kesh tilted his head curiously, but he followed the Drappa without another word.
((oh, the shortness! I'm kinda rushing, though... trying to escape a freaky spider xP))

Citali sat down at the bank of the pool, looking into its deep, dark waters. The moon shone out behind the clouds just barely, and it was still raining, yet the surface of the pool was not disturbed. Citali's reflection was brighter than the moon in the pool, and it had a strange light around it.
"Do you believe it, Kesh? The legends of this pool, the legends of Tor's Mirror, of the Twin Trees?" Citali felt stupid asking such questions, and shook herself angrily.
"What am I talking about, Kesh? The rumors aren't true, Tor will never come down to those that truly want it!" Citali shook angrily again, thinking of all that had happened in the last few hours, including the way she had talked to Kesh. She felt horrible about it now.
Her eyes narrowed pleasantly, a subtle smile appearing on her face. "When we were cubs...There was a pool very similar to this, called the Lake of the Lost...We would always play in it, and the surface was never broken, it was amazing. When we grew older, right before I told Glade that I was leaving the Pack to find my own, Glade said I looked like Tor when I looked into the pool...He's never been able to talk to me the same, or even look at me the same again...It's like I'm not the same anymore..." She wanted to scream out her embarrassed anger, but could not, she could only keep staring into the pool.

Kesh drew up behind her. "Perhaps now, Citali, to all of the Varg, but never give up the hope that she may come to you alone." He growled quietly, as if the silence was too mysterious to break. "They may only be stories and rumors, but they are what give us faith. We can look up and see Fenris lighting up our way, and only because we believe in those stories, whether or not we admit it."
He sank into silence again, and listened to her tale. He was quiet for a long time before his spoke again. "Perhaps you are what gives Glade his faith in Tor and Fenris. Perhaps you are his light, and perhaps he does believe you may be of Tor." He, too, was suddenly looking at her slightly differently. Now that he knew, Citali did in fact look like the god of the stories. "You may be the same to yourself, but to Glade, you may be different."

Citali smiled a little a bit, but took on her angered, stern look that she always held. "You're so stupid, Kesh." When she said this, all the ice that was meant to be there was melted, she had said it...in a good nature, very unlike herself. "But you may be right...You always were able to answer my questions, to understand me...Perhaps I like you more than I think." The last piece of her words were hushed and quiet as she began to stare into the pool again.
"Have you ever really wanted something, something you think will help not only yourself, but someone else? But when you ask, nothing happens..." She was thinking of stories from long ago in her cubhood, of Varg, both Dragga and Drappa, that had wished for something so hard, that fate had taken them early.

Kesh smiled, holding back a light peal of laughter. "I am not stupid!" He retorted good-naturedly. "I'm just... not smart!" He teased.
Her question caught him off guard. He paused. "I..." His mind whirred back to when he had been more than a pup, but not quite an adult. That night, beside the lake... He shook his head. "No..." He said softly, his eyes narrowed and focused on the surface of the lake so intensely he may have been mistaken for wanting to kill someone.

"It's a rather pointless question, but...There's something about these trees and this pool that just...Makes you wonder and think about things that you never would think about normally..." Citali could see that there was something there, in Kesh's eyes, but she didn't want to disturb the glasslike silence that had befallen the pool after what she had said, for not even a cricket chirped in the young spring wind.

He nodded along absently to her words, his eyes fixed upon the glazed surface of the shimmering water. How long it had been since he had last looked upon this pool of... He growled inwardly, berating himself for remembering such faraway times. He remember his brother, and his younger sister. Those who would never again wake to see another day...
He lowered his muzzle gently, until his breath brushed like a ghost against the surface of the calm water. He dipped his nose down slightly, breaking the top and sending ripples coasting away in a circle and crashing against the banks. Such friendly times...

"Citali's right you know." Aoi-Tsuki replied to the silence in a voice just above a whisper. She'd emerged at a different spot near the mirror-like waters, though she had overheard Citali's words, and since Kesh had not answered, she thought she would. Though her tone had been soft, since she had not wanted to disturb the silence too much.
Ivory paws carried her over to the alpha, sitting beside the varg. The young drappa's golden hued eyes flickered toward Kesh, sensing pain. Though she decided to remain silent, until another one of her packmates decided to speak up.

The black Dragga leapt up and almost snarled in reflex to the white Drappa. He cast her a look and then settled down once again, staring into the reflections of the water. When he looked up again, he found himself regarding the beta female strangely. She was a beautiful wolf, so white in contrast to his shadowy blackness. His startling green eyes held her gaze uneasily, until he shifted slightly, and dropped his eyes back toward the water. ((Short, but i'm multi-tasking. Homework, this, and living in fear of my mom discovering me! xP Oh, and also, if Aoi has a mate, then Kesh would feel bad, but there's nothing he can do about it ))

(Well, Kesh shouldn't feel bad. xD)
"Something wrong?" Aoi asked suddenly, looking over to Kesh. She'd only seen one black wolf before, but that had been Glade, Citali's brother. And still, she didn't know Glade. But of course, at one look, Aoi knew this wasn't Glade, but a different wolf that she had not met yet. But still, since he was in the same pack, she should be nice.
Her gold eyes reflected a little worry as the white drappa observed the exact opposite of her, the black dragga.

Citali's mind was off in a distant place, but she spoke still. One could tell she was thinking by the dull veils of mist that fell over the coloring of her eyes.
"Aoi, this is Kesh, StarWinder's first warrior. He's new like you. Kesh, meet Aoi."
After the introductions were made, Citali let herself fully dive into the world of her mind. It was almost frightening, that she lived in a completely different world in her mind, and it was almost a good feeling. Everyone thought she was angry all the time, but she felt completely different in her mind.
Such strange memories, strange feelings, and it all happened when she looked at the pool. Perhaps someone could tell her, tell her why she felt like this, and why she was so angry. What was her reason? Why did she harm, even kill, the innocent through her anger? What had they done to her to deserve such cruel fates, dying to her anger? The Alpha Drappa shook herself quietly, hissing in disgust, desperately trying to get the ominous thoughts from her mind.

"Nice to meet your acquaintance." Aoi said smiling, though when she turned to the alpha, she adopted that worried look once more. "Citali, is something wrong?" The beta asked carefully, not wanting to seem nosey or anything. Aoi knew little of Citali's anger, since she had never really witnessed it, though she knew little of it, she still knew of it. Being pretty smart, she'd rather be safe than sorry.

"I-I... Yea... I mean, yes, you too." The black Dragga quickly recomposed himself, his green eyes dropping slightly before returning to Citali. He tilted his head slightly, for the Drappa was acting strangely, his eyes concerned. "Yea, what Aoi said."

Aoi laughed to herself at the drappa's quick responce, it had reminded her of those carefree days as a pup. But as she snapped back to reality, she had an idea. "Maybe it would be best if we gave Citali some alone time?" She said, kind of throwing the idea in the air. She knew that when she was like this, the white dragga liked to be alone, so maybe it was the same for Citali too.
