Tepestas grinned, walking over to Glade's side and helping him slide the Lera onto his back, muttering, "This is against my better judgement, but we must always be thinking of Citali."
He laughed, and it ended in a chough. Shaking hsi head, he whispered gently, "I have been out here too long. If I am here any longer, it may be the death of me. Come on friend, let's get into warmth."
Tempestas began to walk slowly, his stride forced to be strong and willing. He was cold, shivering, and soaked to the bone, and he was now sick. Shaking his head, he reminded himself how well this day was going, but continued on. Maybe, just maybe, they would get to eat tonight.

Glade nodded, orbs glittering with gratitude, but the warm feelings ended abrubtly. He could see that the Dragga was growing ill, and he could only imagine what Citali would do to him if she found him as critically ill.
"Come, my friend, we must get you to warmth and safety. Perhaps, if you grow even more ill, we should stop and sleep in the forest tonight. Tor's crying has started to slow, perhaps it will stop before the Fenris wakes."

"I pray that it stops before Fenris' arrival. It wouldn't be a good thing if it did." Shaking his head, he coughed once more, still striding forward as fast as his worn legs could take him. His occulars looked ahead of him, and then he said over to Glade, "Citali will not blame anything on you, and if she does, it is actually my fault if I grow excedingly ill, so do not fret."
Smiling wolfishly, he stumbled over a large rock, rolling down it's smooth edge and into the mud. Growling, he rolling onto his stomach, lifting himself up. he looked to Glade, asking, "Can you carry it to the den by yourslef? I need to run before I start coughing a Lera out."

Glade's faint smile faded completely, and morped into a grimacing frown. "I will carry it, but you can't go on much longer...You must run, Tempestas, run as fast as Fenris will let you!" He lifted his mighty head proudly, and gingerly placed his maw on Tempestas' forehead. "Run..I will meet you soon."

Tempestas accepted Glade's approval, which was strange to him. Turning, he lengthened his strides, pulling himself upwards. His body started to slowly warm up with the motion, with the negative feeling of emptyness in his stomach tiring him greatly. He felt as though he was running as fast as he could but it was only half of it, the days of not eating was getting to him. He grumbled, wishing silently, "Oh mighty Fenris, please bring other's to our home so that our family may grow."

Glade began to run, as well, desperately praying to Fenris for his leader's -and his sister's- safeties. He caught up with Tempestas eventually, his strides loping and strong. "Hangin' in there alright, Tempestas? Or do I need to carry you too?"
ooc:The horror..THE SHORTNESS!!!

OOC: lol, 'tis alright, mine was short too.
IC: Tempestas looked to Glade, panting softly. Looking to the sky, he saw a ray of light, and it lifted his spirit.
His strides became faster, lengthening. Hi auds, he pressed down to the top of his head in determination. Hi opcculars, if you had saw them, were full of a shinning light, bright enough to light up a whole den. HIs footsteps became lighter, and his tassel moved with his movements, helping him slice through the air.
Tempestas pulled ahead of Glade like a bullet, his muscles having been warmed up. His slim muzzle helped him cut through the air, and he lept off large boulders, jumping to the next on and the next.
Sliding to a stop, he was facing a large opening. Striding in quietly, his occulars adjusted to the dim light. His gaze fell upon Citali, and he was joyful. They turned to Lupo, and he nodded his head. Happy to finally be home, he walked to a corner where it was the warmest, and flopped down to the ground, panting wearily.

Glade had to pause to let out a heaving cough, a small trickle of blood coming from his mouth. He didn't know what had caused the semisweet liquid to be there in his mouth, whether he had bit it or if it had just..been coughed up, but he wasn't too interested in the reasoning at that moment.
He eventually strode into the den, the Herla across his back, blood soaking into his smokey grey fur. He smiled, seeing that his sister had leaped up and began to lick Tempestas.
Her tongue had shot out from her lips like a bullet from a gun barrel, licking any place on the Dragga's face where she could get to. Glade hadn't seen her this happy since they were pups, which sadened him a little.

The huge black Dragga that had been lying outside the den stood as the two hunters returned. His radiant green eyes watched them quietly, as his seemingly blood-soaked muzzle held high as was his manner. His goldenstreaked tail hung easily behind him, and he parted his maw to let out a greeting growl.
His ears so tuned to the natural sounds of the territory, they flicked gently to catch any that were not common. He could hear nothing wrong, and while the rest of him was intently focused on the two returning hunters and the strong smell of the kill, his ears turned this way and that almost curiously as they swept to hear.
Assured that nothing was amiss, the black Dragga stepped into the den. He watched Citali together with Tempestas wistfully, but he held back the whine of longing that had bubbled to the tip of his throat. Instead, he let out a light bark of joy, his intense green eyes focused on nothing at once.

Glade turned to Kesh, a small smile appearing on his maw. Kesh was a newer member of the StarWinders, but Glade was starting to take a liking to him. He had never seen him hunt, yet, but today would have been very good.
Citali, on the other hand, was too busy licking her brother and fellow Alpha to even notice the Dragga. After only a few more moments, though, she finally laid eyes on him. Kesh was an aquantance to her, he was there and that was all. The Drappa padded towards Kesh, a blank expression upon her maw.
"Kesh" she stated, staring blankly into his eyes. "I see you have been here...Why did you not help us hunt?"

The black Varg shook his head, averting his gaze from the Drappa. "Indeed, I would have very much liked to, Citali, but I didn't know of the hunt." He bowed his regal head. "Next time, I will be sure to." His forepaws were straining with the urge to run into the wind, after the bounding deer, his jaws ready to slash into the hide of the Herla. The Dragga growled unconsciously, suddenly almost unaware that there were other wolves around him.
Kesh lifted his head suddenly, his tail rising up as his ears turned toward the mouth of the den like a flitting sparrow. The beginnings of a snarl tugged at his maw, as his forepaws padded to turn toward the outside.
Then his tail dropped and his ears pitched forward again, his muzzle relaxed and his focused eyes easy. His nose twitched once, then he turned back to the other StarWinders.

Citali managed to keep the esence of a snarl coming from her maw, thanks to her brother. "Citali..." He half-growled, smiling lightly at Kesh. "I think Citali understands, Kesh, right, Citali?" The word 'Citali' became a growling snarl, followed by a meek nod from the Alpha Drappa.
"Hunting is not organized, for there is no one to do so. You could have made an attempt to hunt untill we returned...What were you doing, anyways?" Citali's saphire optics were shrouded in a suspicious haze, and her usual anger was rising with the level of rain that seeped through her fur.
ooc:Why did you put this in your first reply? Why was he looking at them longinly? Just asking, I'm a little confused...

((Omg, why did I? Hm, lol, confused here too... I dunno, maybe I'll figure in he wants a mate or something...)) "I was watching the border. I heard a foreign sound and I thought I should go see what was wrong." He unbent his pride slightly to hold back the impudent reply that had almost slipped out. A thing he would never have done as a Kerl. "Nothing was amiss, though." He added as a slight afterthought. Kesh snorted, much more to himself than to the others in the den. "I can go look for game tomorrow." He said slowly, as if tasting each word before it came out. "Tomorrow may bring fair weather."

ooc:Okay, let's go with that! lol. ;D
ic:Citali wasn't amused, then again, was she ever? "What was this 'foreign' sound? What did you hear that forced you to abandon your duties as a StarWinder Varg and investigate something that was not really there?" Her last few words became a hideous snarl, water fromt he rain dripping off of her revealed teeth. Deep down, Citali hated showing her teeth to another, especially when they were down and she was already getting after them, but it was the only thing that made her feel better.
"I appologize, Kesh. I, too, have sensed fair weather, and have no need of getting angry at you." Citali swore under her breath to Tor, cursing the goddess herself.

((Heh, ok~))
Kesh's lip lifted ever so slightly, so that only perhaps an eagle may have spotted the movement. "I can't tell what it was." He growled. "It sounded like the crack of a tree trunk, but there was no sound of falling. And then the birds never so much as flinched from their perches, or the hares from their burrows."
