"Yeah, me...too..." Glade stiffled a small yawn, his tail waggling like a foolish dog's. "Alright...Ready...Set...Go!" Glade hadn't had this much fun in ages. His tail went flying behind him, his ears erect and a pleasant grin on his maw.

Aoi took off much of the same time Glade did, evening out her stride to match his. It was a race, but who cared? You needed to save stamina, right? She corrected her stride, paws matching the rhythmic pattern of her body, and her tail flying out behind her, ears gracefully arched forward, still listening in to everything and anything.

The Dragga did not mention that she was matching his stride, he didn't really care much about the race he was in, he just wanted to run. Get off the subject of talking, and just have a little fun before he went off to sleep. His eyes were getting very heavy, and he could already see the dens coming into view.

At the sight of the dens, Aoi held back a little, falling from her matched stride into a slower run, to conserve energy. She didn't really care about the race much, she too had wanted to run. To be free, for once. She shrugged mentally, the dens coming closer and closer into view. Aoi had to conserve energy, however, you just couldn't fall asleep without any, well, you could, but it was a hassle.

They reached the dens. Citali was curled at the back with the remaining three cubs, since Kaeric and Tempestas had left. Glade stiffled a yawn, not wanting to wake his sister and her cubs up.
He took his spot at the right side of the cave, smiled at Aoi, and began to stare at the tip of his tail as he made an effort to get some sleep in.
Snow was falling outside, already blanketing the ground. It would be a lovely covering in the morning, but for now, sleep was all that was wanted in the cave.

Tempestas looked up to the sky as a cloud came over the clearing, tumbling it into mid darkness. He looked down to Kaeric, who had slowly woken up. Saying nothing, he watched as the young pup looked up to him with the strange silver eyes, asking gently, "Where are we, father?" Tempestas smiled, and looked around, "This is a place I found in the forest, where no creatures except Varg have come, nothing disturbing it's peace. It helps me think, what I really needed to do." Tempestas looked back up to the sky, asking after a moment, "Do you want to go back to the den?"
Kaeric looked to Tempestas for a moment before asking gently, "If we could come back sometime, it would be nice. Yes, it would be good if we went back to the den. Glade taught me about the weather one day, and it looks like it's going to snow." Tempestas nodded his head in approval, saying, "And it will get very cold. Lets hurry back, before we get stuck in a Blizzard." He smiled at his own joke before jumping down from the rock, Kaeric climbing down slowly. They looked around the clearing for a moment, savoring it, before they returned to the forest, fading away from it.

Citali woke quickly as the sound of approaching Varg roared through her ears. Her lips lifted in an ugly snarl, for she was still half asleep, and completely unaware that she was in her own den, and that the only Varg that would want to come into the den were ones in the pack itself. Sleep had its effects.
Loka, still asleep, rolled right into Ketlam who yelped loudly, rousing his mother and his sister angrily.

Tempestas appeared out of the snow, Kaeric following beside him. He gently walked over to the cubs, and motioned Kaeric there. Kaeric obediantly snuggled up with his brothers and sister, falling asleep instantly. Tempestas looked to Citali, a infectious smile lighting to his maw. With a smiple nod, he left the cave, sitting outside. The snow did a dance around his strong frame, swirling and twisting around him. His ears perked up, and he looked over his shoulder, gazing into the cave before looking back out in the storm, the blizzard.

A few dying, flickering flames of anger flared in the very depths of her belly, but it died quickly to be replaced by her affection for the one she had chosen over all other Draggas. Within moments she was sitting next to him, staring up at the moon, full and bright, despite the watery grey-blue cloak of clouds that hid the stars. It could not cloak the moon, it was too bright, too powerful, too free, Tor would watch over her Varg no matter what Wolfbane did to the sky.
Citali's slender, elegant frame looked almost ghostly in the swirling wind and snow, the icy snowflakes seemed to dance around her in a spiral, she was beautiful.
Beauty and Citali had never really met much. She had looked quite lovely in the winter of the last year, when she had talked to Kesh at Tor's Mirror. Other than that, she had never looked pretty, pretty angry, yes, but not pretty like this.
Her saphire and amber mixed eyes danced around with the snow, a smile slowly spreading onto her face.
"I love winter...It's like Tor spreading her coat on all the ground, spreading her peace and joy and love..." When she said it, it was like there were no dark thoughts in the back of her mind, dark thoughts of how winter held famine and death for everyone. It was not a season of Tor, it was the season of Wolfbane.

Tempestas looked down to her, a kind smile on his face. Affection showed in his eyes, and he murmured gently, "The great goddess Tor always did love winter most, my mother always told me. Some always seem to bloom in winters blanket." He gently licked Citali on the cheek, his tail wrapping gently around her.
He looked up to the moon, and after a moment, he slowly let out a low howl, his voice singing out to the moon. The clouds slowly broke away from the moon, revealing it's glory to the night. Tempestas let his howl fade away, smiling gently towards the moon. His actions said what he felt towards Citali, no words needed.

Citali joined him, the mournful, beautiful song of the Varg echoing around the forest and the European countryside. The Alpha also returned her mate's lick, and leaning against him gently. It was like fighting didn't exist.
"The cubs will be a year old at the end of winter, it's almost time for them to be able to hunt with us.." She sighed, looking at her paws. "They're growing up so fast, Tempestas.."

Tempestas nudged her gently on the cheeck, "I know, my rising moon, but they are strong, stronger than most pups. They will make a lasting impression in any they come in contact with, I have no doubt. Wether it's a good one or not, I have no idea."
He looked up to the night sky, continuing on, "Look at Loka. She is becoming more and more like you everyday, and Kaeric is growing up like your brother. Gaiden is turning out to be like me, with his own twists. Ket is strong like the others, and like you said, they are all growing up quickly. You did well, and should never have any worries about it." He turned his golden eyes towards her, his smile never fading.

She pressed her head gently against his. "They are growing up healthy and strong, but...I just don't want them to leave us, Tempestas. Their first hunt is days away, and that's a big step..The next thing we know they'll be running off to find a pack of their own.." She sighed, thinking of seeing her cubs run away from her, off to find their own place in the world.

Tempestas nodded, his tail moving silently acorss the ground, "They know what they will always have a home here, and they will visit Citali, you know that."
