ooc:Okay, this site needs to get back on track and become the roleplaying site it was meant to be, not a KH2 fansite!!! Though, I must admit, have gotten into that..I swear, that game still practically owns my life...
ic:Rain, icy and dearly longed for, stung her brittle body, sapped of moisture for the very long season that was finally coming to an end. It had been so long since something so cooling, so wonderful, had fallen from the skies that it hurt. Still, she did not take cover from the pelting storm.
Ebony blended into ivory at the belly and face, breaking into their separate boundaries, thick, solid spikes of fur crossing the lines into each other. Dust, mingling with the rain, trickled in one single strand, never branching off to travel down her limbs, going from the tip of her nose to the ground at the base of her tail. Argent optics masked by solid white lids, trails of mud flowing from beneath them.
Everything was dust, mud, filth. The river had been, quickly refilling, was too low to completely cleanse the Drappa. Her tears were of the water-mingled dust, the runoff from her body, slowly becoming brighter, returning to a full beauty of a lustrous coat. Even the blood from her wounds, hidden deep within her forever-thick pelt, scars hidden in a hardened, non-existent heart, was dust. It was nothing.
Sleek, snake-like movements, dancing in the rain. As the cries of the thunder and the illumination of the lightning enveloped her twirling form, images began to shift, her mind began to flood, darkness draping itself within her.
A young cub, two young cubs, danced before her. She found herself to be a cub, joyous and filled with the spirit of a loving, carefree heart. One cub, a Drappa, had a white pelt, with sparkling eyes of a bizarre mixture of blue and gold. The other, a dark, smoky colored one, held the look of a beaten child, striving to find out why life had not allowed him to choose his own path. But that couldn't be true. They were only cubs.
She suddenly felt herself playing with them, rolling around, actually enjoying herself, feeling no pain, no rage, no feeling of the cruel Animal that roared within her with the rage of Wolfbane. No rage toward Citali's power, grace, nothing. Nothing toward Glade's self pity.
Everything shifted again, becoming an even colder rain. There was nothing beneath her feet, only feather-like clumps of fur blowing around her. The "floor" felt like water, but it was thicker, like blood. There, before her, was Citali. Dead.
With a start, Drea awoke, lying on the ground, rain still pelting against her body, a raging ache in her head and chest. Standing upright was more difficult than it should have been, her tail felt a thousand times heavier, her head bursting. How did she dream that? She had been awake, enjoying the rain, and then..Nothing.
Nothing. The word brought joy in her dream, for it meant no fear, no anger, no pain. But now...It brought itself. Nothing. A hollow and empty feeling, a rage so bitter it made her feel almost caged inside, as if she could implode and become the horrible beast of rage that she believed Wolfbane himself had given to her.
Citali. Dead. Could it be? Did she kill her? The marks on her body looked very much like a Varg's claws, but not her own. Her own were jagged, filled with rage, masked by the horrible animal she had become inside. Those had been clean. Had she tamed it? Or was it all just a fantasy of doing so? Still..It seemed too real.
"I can't escape it...This living realm of Wolfbane...That dream..It was only an effect of my dreams of getting rid of this horrid darkness..I can't escape myself...Citali is out of my reach..My cousin will not die by me...I can't get out of the shadows to do it..."
She paused, thinking, staring into the skies.
"They can all see..They can all see it, the darkest side of me...No one can save me..No one can tame it..No one can defeat Wolfbane, no one can release him from my heart...So what? I'll get through it, even if it means killing a few Varg to do it."
ooc:Yes, Drea's gone through a few changes in the time that this site has been on a roleplaying issue, one with absolutely no roleplays..So..yeah. Besides, I was listening to Animal I Have Become by Three Days Grace.

Ooc: Gina D: I have to reply to this, because it’s awesome…but I can’t…seriously xD So, I’ll start in a way I usually do when I’m braindead Let’s flash back <3
And because you wanted to, You’ll be the first one to actually rp with Valke
=[Flashback]=
The night had been heavy…only due to the heavy overcast that masked its majestic view. Neither the stars, or the moon dared glare its feeble light down below, even though the clouds allowed them to through the numerous breaks the passing overcast offered. There had been signs of storms all day…the morning didn’t welcome with the sun’s glow, rather a dull, lifeless cloud cover. The dull feeling only hung on ‘till nightfall, and yet no rain.
No worries, the darker it was, the better, right?
She herself had been complaining all day, more timid than usual, a worried expression upon her features…when asked what was wrong, she simply answered “He’s near…” and nothing more. Of course though, no one would understand her fear…truth be told, no one else believed there was anything to fear of the one she talked about. But why would they? It was her story…and no one could change that.
So like usual, she was ignored by her “family”…treated like nothing for the entire day…still, she made furious attempts to follow all three as close as possible…if she was with them, he couldn’t get at her, couldn’t “play” the way he did. If she was alone…she was his, no one could help her with that. And that’s exactly what happened.
Such a heavy night indeed. And caught at this time…shame how easy it was for him. She was found without her brothers…and it wasn’t their fault, she herself had separated from them. The situation she was in was entirely her fault. And she made sure to punish herself every waking moment. The lifeless skies above seemed to contrast nicely with what was happening below them. Two varg…only two. The dragga had succeeded in pinning her gently on the ground, his paws set squarely on her ivory shoulders, him glaring down at her. It was strange though, his glare held no anger…it held something…quite indescribable. What ever it was, it was disturbing none the less, just like he wanted. The drappa, though pinned and held down quite easily, showed no signs of struggling, she was overly calm really.
She spoke up first, a deep growl rumbling in the depths of her throat.
“Why are you back?”
The dragga smirked, and lowered his head as he answered.
“What’s wrong, love? I’ve traveled a great distance just to see you…you’re not happy that I am back? But I missed you…I really did.”
The drappa didn’t answer back, only the growl in her throat grew. Again, she didn’t struggle. She wouldn’t win that way, she had tried in the past. But staying still was an awful chore, specially when this beast was the one who controlled her. The lack of an answer caused the dragga to continue on.
“You know, love, I had to get through so many drappas to get to you…Such an annoying hindrance, you know? And yet, they die without putting up a fight…”
He lowered his head farther, and gently nuzzled at the drappa’s muzzle…
“Unlike you. Brought me near death even. Your own fatal mistake, love. It’s what feeds me to find you, and now I’m here. It hurts when you’re rejected.”
The drappa’s lips curled back, and finally, she struck back. The sudden reaction was strong enough for him to pull back, and the drappa didn’t waste the chance, scrambling to her feet.
“I’m not yours, leave it at that. Quit wasting your time, you’re worth being rejected.”
+++
The rain had finally come, the entire day yesterday was only teasing…mocking at the creatures below. But it had come today, and what great rain it was. His eyes opened a while later. His body was layed in slightly strange position, for what reason he didn’t know. For a while, after he woke up, he simply layed there. And then it hit him. He was alone again. For a while, it wasn’t much of a problem, he was, after all, the ideal Kerl. But then he remembered yesterday, and gave a short moan at his memory.
“Lovely, I should have finished the job when I had the chance.”
He yawned. How long he’s been here, he didn’t know. But he was rather…sore. What happened? Did his victim attack him again? Or did something else? He finally opened his oddly bright green eyes, his entire world spinning for a short while. None the less, he got up, stretched himself, and yawned once more. His ear were folded back out of mere laziness, his entire ivory coat was soaked at slightly dirty now, but he made no attempts to shake it off. He just sat there, and observed his surroundings. Where exactly was he again? Ah yes, he was near Bayne. That was all that mattered.
At the thought of her, he finally stood up, and walked. He was back to his job, the reason he’d come this far anyways.
But, though he had set off with a strong enthusiasm, it quickly faded away. This rain wasn’t going to help him, it merely drowned everything else with its own smell, the sweet smell of a rain-kissed earth was the overwhelming scent at the moment. Mostly the reason for why he stopped a while later, and sat himself down, looking up to the rainy skies above. He spoke up rather loudly, he didn’t have a sense of anyone being nearby.
“You’re not helping me at all…I can’t spill her blood if I can’t find her, don’t you understand?”
He took a deep sigh, and just…waited. His coat was now heavy with water, but he still made no attempts to shake it off. He breathed slowly…taking in the scent of the rain as he did so…but something else followed the scent as he did so…another Varg, another drappa. She wasn’t the one he was looking for, but still, he searched around for where she was. The rain hid her distance…and by all means, she could have heard him.
He searched on farther, each second he grew slightly more frantic. But the rain, and his hurting head weakened his search considerably…everything right now was a blur. So he gave up after a while, holding a slight ambition that whoever this unseen [well, to him at least] varg hadn’t heard him. But her scent was now burning in him. She was near, but he couldn’t see her…not at in his state of so called “alertness”. He gave a soft growl, and spoke up once more. He layed himself down this time, and kept his eyes to the skies. He whispered this time through, it was bad enough his position was found…being heard talking to the storm would be…disastrous in a way.
“Thank you again. Really.”
Ooc: Alright now, I’m still braindead <3 But I tried. Erm, he did end up attacked again, and Valke’s head hurts D: He’s frustrated, and can’t think right…that’s why he can’t see Drea, ‘kay? Just thought that you should know >< He’s not injured…just very, very sore in the head. Don’t ask why, I don’t know either…Maybe its because Baggy has a searing headache as well...

Auds flitted with the very first hint of sound. There was someone else, near by, but the muggy autumn rain had shattered the scent. Her bushy tail rose irritably, rage bubbling up from the ground, ivory tinged fangs clenching.
She felt mocked, caged, watched by some Lera unseen. Growling, the Drappa leaped into the air to capture a low flying fowl. Crimson squelched into her mouth, her rage spiking again, through the Varg's natural blood lust.
With an angered smirk, she spat it out, leaving the blood and the fowl for the scavengers.
"Where are you?"
Her voice hardly sounded like her own, no, the monster inside her had taken over for the time being. She circled the clearing, her beautiful features ugly with rage and watered down life. As the rain pattered harder, however, she began to calm down, to think, rationally.
She couldn't even smell what it was. It could be anything. A sparrow, a squirrel, a Varg. Drea didn't care what it was, she just wanted it out.
If it was a Varg, simply walking would work. Not many that would travel out here were interested in company. And, by it's words it sounded as not in the best shape.
Perfect.
Padding silently behind a tree, she spotted him. Solid ivory. But, there was something wrong.
Standing tall on her long, thin limbs, she stared down, not at his eyes, but at his nose, to avoid another rage spike.
"What are you mumbling about?"

Amazingly, he had remained in his spot over the entire course of waiting. Yes, waiting. Even in the horrible state he was in, even if it was only mentally, meeting another Varg when one was thinking right wasn’t the best of things. He had been taught quite strictly taught that he had be alert at all times, everyone else was mere prey. If not, the hunter would become hunted. True, an old cliché, but he was taught to take it quite seriously.
But doing so wasn’t so easy right now.
Even after hearing a the voice of the unseen being who accompanied him, his ears remained folded downwards; half because they had collected a massive amount water, and half because he had a false ambition keeping his ears lowered would help him ignore the fact of another nearby. Alas, did a Varg’s ears ever quit their designated job? To his misery, no. They perked a while later, regardless of the fact that they were soaked, and twitching back and forth to every sound evident.
And then, just like that, his guest was before him. Another Drappa. Wonderful. He had enough of this, he really did, but he merely looked upwards at her for a while after she had spoken. His ears had folded back again, and he held a very blank look in his face…almost as if he was bored.
“That’s really none of your business, is it?”

She cocked her head, smiling a little. A single brow cocked upwards with the lowering of her neck, a sultry smile playing upon her maw. A sudden flare exploded in her belly, but flinch she did not. Worry she did not. On the surface, she looked calm and ready, but she was really trying not to fall apart right here on this ground.
"Mmm...no. But that doesn't mean anything, does it?"

The Dragga’s eyes blinked ever so slowly, almost as if he was bored. But that was what he usually did…and usually, it caught others off guard. He didn’t really believe it would work on this one female, but at least he could make an attempt to look inattentive. Why would that help in anyway? It he looked inattentive, there was a chance he could cause the other to grow inattentive as well. And then, the other was his victim, cornered in the most wonderful position possible. And, because his mind worked in that cruel fashion, he was attempting to pull it off…see if this one would fall under his subtle enchantment as well. But, he wasn’t really able to pull it off to his wanted extent. She seemed…different. Her comment, for example, seemed to rather…plain. She didn’t take no certain offence to his own. Strange. And she seemed slightly…strange. Fighting against mixed emotions, welling up inside her…a certain thirst for something. Maybe he could play with her emotions a bit…maybe figure out some valuable information about her in the process.
“Hmm. I guess you have some point in that remark of yours.”
He held a sort of charm in his voice. Whatever it was, it was different from the voice he used in his first comment. His eyes narrowed ever so slightly, but his soaked ears, and rather bored face remained intact.
“You don’t seem happy. What’s wrong, m’lady?”

The smile widened a bit, hardly noticable, but it did infact widened. That was what counted, right? Not if it was seen, but if it happened.
Like so many other things in the world.
"Nothing's wrong, you imbecile."
Her smile returned shortly after the snap, but her voice had become harsher, more venemous, close to rising to a shrieky level. She allowed herself to relax, the smile fading. The Drappa suddenly looked even younger than she already was, a child being verbally attacked, as though someone had just threwn a mound of curses upon her. A frail heart giving in.
You witch. You jealous little witch. How can you say there's nothing wrong, when you're collapsing under pressures that should have killed you by now?
She shook herself, feeling reassured by her own harsh thoughts, though cut somewhere deeper than she could search for, afraid to pass the walls that lead into her own darkness.
"See? Perfectly fine. Why would you care, anyways?"

He would have kept his head lowered, his ears folded, and the rather bored look on his face if she hadn't snapped at him in that manner.
He finally put the effort into finally perking his ears, finally setting a rather regal look on his face. He lifted an eyebrow before replying to her first comment.
"That's quite kind of you, m'lady. Really."
His oddly vibrant green eyes narrowed once more. This time though, not in anger. More so...in a sly fashion, as if something horrible were going around in his filthy mind. They had an elegant gleam in them, however, holding a gaze in them for too long wouldn't be the wise. A small smirk rolled across his ivory maw.
And then, he broke it all. Just like that.
He yawned, stretching his forepaws, and then seating himself on his giant, white haunches. The fur his belly was now etched a soft brown, and his coat was completely drenched, making him look less regal than he really was. No matter. He was bent on flattering only one drappa. How he looked right now really didn't matter to him. Just another reason for why he still made no attempt to shake his fur free from the numerous drops of rain weighing it down.
His tail extended lazily behind him, and he finally returned his gaze to the drappa. He smirked once more. He shot another question at her, and made dirrect eye contact with her...just another one of his habits.
"Truth is, m'lady,...I could care less if you're fine or not. Really. What makes you think I do?"
His tail batted the damp ground a few times, before it lay limp again. Maybe this one wasn't a waste of time...maybe...this one could help him. But with a comment like he had just given, he trusted she wouldn't cooperate with him the way he wanted. He bowed his head before speaking up again, shutting his eyes, looking almost, shamed....pitiful. Just a way to look innocent. He tried to look as if his last comment was a huge sin...something he wasn't suppose to have said. So the next thing he spoke with was molded to be taken as an...apology.
"Please, disregard that last comment. Thing is...I've lost someone...highly prescious to me. I'm...not my self right now."
He finally looked up again, his narrowed eyes now gleaming feebly, almost pup-like.
"I might be able to...relate to your position...that's what I'm trying to say. As for you stating that you're fine...you're not. Trust me, if no else knows...I do. If you want, we can...maybe...talk? But whatever pleases you, m'lady. Take it as my...apology. I'd be offended if you won't."
Of course though, all of the pointless speach was a fraud. Peh. Relate to anyone he could not...and truth be told, he didn't care at all as to how this drappa felt. But he was playing his mastered art once more...the art of manipulation. Hiding his true emotions wasn't a big deal...but then again, being a master at it did influence that. He kept his innocent gaze on her, head lowered, and ears folded back down against the soft form of his skull once more.
ooc: You'll notice that he adores to manipulate. But I warned you about that already...he will change attitudes to fit the situation...again, I've warned you xD

He ears slowly reached for her skull, her eyes narrowing, heart bitten by remorse. Everything was collapsing here, in these rainy woods, hopelessly lost. She turned away from him, ignoring his smirk, the regal expression, and then, his rather dramatic yawn.
"Sorry..."
She felt as if she could have forgotten something important, as if everyone had been counting on her. But that wasn't the case. That wasn't even close. She didn't even know this Dragga's name. Then again, why should she? It wouldn't matter anyways. It wasn't like Tor had planned for them to meet, for her to want to pour her heart out, and be crushed.
Of course, she didn't know that she would be crushed. This Varg could really be sincere, but she doubted it. She had been doubting a lot of things lately.
Her eyes began to glaze over, and her throat tightened up. She didn't want to cry. Why was he talking to her? Why couldn't he just have ignored her? Why couldn't she be somewhere else right now?
"I..You..Why? Why are you still talking to me? Why don't you just get up and be on your way? Surely you don't want to talk to a hopeless Drappa who doesn't even know where she stands right now."
She thought for a moment. Perhaps he really was being sincere. Perhaps he wasn't. What was she to do? She wanted to stay, to explain everything, to rid herself of her jealousy, her envy. But a part of her begged to leave, to live alone, and to get a job done that had burdened her since birth. She turned back towards him, her eyes burning fiercely, her mouth a determined line.
She nodded.

All the while he simply watched…simply listened…and his face was masked with a fake pitiful expression. Yet inside, he was welling with a filthy joy. And felt no remorse to that fact either. He had her where he wanted, and she could be used for what he wanted. But before he became overly excited, he’d have to mould this one a bit more…just to make sure she was…in a crude sense…controllable. Of course though, no real varg was controllable, and those who were…well…they just weren’t worthy to be called a “varg”. Just another twisted philosophy he was taught. However, toying with one’s emotions was possible…and that’s exactly what he was an artist at.
He lowered his head and observed her more closely, for once, not making any fact attempts to look as if he were interested. Her eyes glazing over slightly urged him smirk…to enjoy her pain like he usually would. But he made his fullest efforts not to…otherwise, he’d lose her. So he kept that pitiful, concerned, whelp-like look on his face, all the while planning out what to do next.
“Is my company bothering you?”
It was a rather sudden remark…and nothing at all to his own advantage. He slowly raised his head, and shut his eyes, releasing a small, quiet sigh before he spoke up again.
“You know, m’lady, you remind me of someone. Another drappa…she looks like you…acts like you…”
His eyes narrowed slightly before he finished his remark, though it was a reply to her nod, not to finish his previous sentence. For once, he allowed a soft smile to uncurl on his ivory maw, though he kept his eyes shut…he knew too well they gleamed with his filthy ambitions.
“Before I…help…you in anyway, you have to agree to help me find my lost one. I’d be over joyed if I did find her…”
He smile broadened once more, waiting for a reaction

Drea was almost taken over with shock. Her maw dropped open a little bit, her silvery optics widening slightly. Her tail twitched a little bit, a sudden wave of heat rising and falling from her paws.
"Well, I..No, I don't think so."
She couldn't hold his gaze very well, but she forced it upon herself, ignoring the sudden flash. A fraction of sun gleamed through the heavy cloud cover, lighting up the water that had placed itself upon the fuzzy surfaces of leaves, and burried within her thick coat.
She nodded slowly.
"I'll help."

Valke looked over at the female, and finally, because he wasn’t able to hold it back any longer, he finally allowed a large smile to furl over his ivory maw. Not because of her reply…because he felt powerful now. She was in his grasp now…it was wonderful. But he twisted the meaning of his smile to not loose her yet.
“That’s wonderful. So that means I can stay, right?”
He had an overly happy tone in his voice, and he continued on, laughing this time even.
“Well of course I can!”
He stopped his laughing…and resumed the smile…looking back over at her.
“Alright then…As I promised…you first. Tell me how I can help you…please do.”
He bowed this time, only to hide his smirk, outstretching his left leg forward, a bowing his neck downwards. So it looked like a real bow. His smile widened even more.
--- His smirked died slightly as he turned his face back onto her...a small thought running though his head, as his eyes narrowed again.
Until then, my'lady...I'll be your best friend...really.

Her eyes widened, and narrowed untill they were closed, her head tilted slightly, her mouth curved into a smile. However, the soft place of emotion disappeared very quickly, her expression morphed into a slightly downward line.
"Well..It's like...It's like there's two of me. And I can't decide which one is right. One is a killer, and..Well..The other is...This."
She paused, digging her claws into the moist earth.
"I'm lost."
She whipped around, anger burning within her. Something tugged at her heart. She was just embarrassing herself. She didn't have time to deal with this. She never wanted to deal with this. The Drappa then turned back around, looking suddenly very young and broken.
"Do..Do you think the Gods hide from us..Because there are some out there that they're afraid of?"
She paused again, looking up to the skies, which were beginning to weep again. She lifted her head to the skies, an almost invisable tear rolling down her cheek, a smile on her face.
"Am I one of them?"
She said this almost to herself. She turned away from him, walking a few paces away, everything collapsing. A bird passed overhead, singing a song. Oddly, she could understand it. But only one line.
"Too many problems, falling from grace"
She sighed. Her sob story was over, now it was her turn to help. He couldn't do anything, just stare and make up things that would make her feel better, but she would always know they were lies.
"If anyone can fall from grace..It's me."

ooc: The fact that he found out she's a killer has made a soft spot in his heart for her now ^^
And as for his...er..."religious" beliefs. I dislike them. Totally against what I believe. Just another reason for why I get to torment him xD
bic:
His plan was to look like he was listening. Really. Just an appearance...a fake mask held up against him to give the image that he really cared, when in reality...he just wanted to use her...to take his will from her...and then throw her away like she was nothing. Cruel? Inconsiderate? In simple terms...mean? Of course. All those were words that could be used to describe him. But really...it wasn't his fault. It was the way he grew up...the way he saw right.
However...he seemed to be set back...almost shocked at what he heard. Maybe he could relate to her...frighteningly...quite similar to what he was feeling…what he was suffering right now. His head lowered. She was like him. A lot like him. Thing was though, she was more free to show her emotions…He wasn’t. It was the only thing that made them different.
He had a short pause before answering.
“The Gods aren’t afraid of you. They just could care less for a being less then them.”
His eyes narrowed…his voice growing more of a hiss in it.
“They see us suffer…and mock us instead of helping.”
He looked back up at her, his next comment completely…random…in a vague sense.
“Tell me the truth, m’lady…you hold vengeance against someone…don’t you? Every living day goes by were you see it wasted, only because you couldn’t slit their throats, only because you’ve failed to satisfy your need to spill their blood.”
He turned his head again, looking away from her.
“Thing is…That’s how I live…right now. Even now, I’m wasting time. Time that could be spent on finding her…killing her. And yet…I can’t. Why? She’s precious to me. I’ve had so many chances…and I let her go. Why?”
He sighed. Why would she care anyways? But strange thing was…his heart felt a bit lighter after saying so.
