Aslan's features lit up at the sight of Bayne. She was a lovely as ever, her coat a little thinner than that of when he last saw her, and her eyes, oh, those beautifully unique optics of hers! They were the same, sad and timid but strong and bright in the desired protection of her family.
Glade, on the other hand, gave a hard, apathetic smile towards her, his jaw clenched. He had no liking towards her, but no hating, either. He had come to an apathetic conclusion about them, due to his never truly meeting the four of them, and Citali's constant firery hate.
"Hello..." Glade spoke kindly, but with a delicate sense of apathy in his voice. Aslan spoke up with more enthusiasm, bounding towards her with such grade and pride that it almost seemed like he was dancing.

Bayne's Ears, which had been standly, surprisingly, proudly even at the sight of the three of them slowly folded downwards at the sight of Glade. His Sister, Citali, was quite kind hearted. However, her two brothers never had a liking for Citali, and, never left a good impression on her. Likewise, she supposed that her own impression was judged by her brothers...not that it mattered that much, but it wasn't...a fair way of judging her.
So that smile she saw on Glade's maw wasn't really in joy to see her, rather, just to be kind...
However, the sight of Aslan caused her to cheer up a bit more, her tail, which was still halfway hidden behind the leaves and branches, wagged more strongly than it did before. She too would have bound forward to him if the others weren't so close to her as well, and instead, said a soft, "Hello Aslan, I'm glad to see you again too..."

Aoi sighed, watching Bayne. A polite look on her face, of more purity than Glade's had been. The silvery Varg's golden visage turned on Glade, observing his look, then to the look of Bayne. She sighed, nudging Glade in the side with her nose. When she raised her slender head, she smiled at him, before gazing at Bayne, not taking her eyes off the Kerl before speaking.
"Oh Glade, be nice. It's spring, a time to be happy, not to hold dislikings."
She gazed back at him, for a moment, still smiling widely. Her attention was then turned on Aslan and Bayne, her grin widening. "Looks like somebody likes eachother..." She had to use all within her power to hold back a laugh. The Drappa sat, her tail swaying gently, observing the happiness in the two Varg before her.

ooc:I don't like it either, I just thought it was a good spring color...Should I change it to...maybe pastel blue?
ic:Glade's look was accusing now, almost hurt. He said nothing for a while, thinking of the kindest, most logical way to put it. What was said sounded more like it was coming from the mouth of a cub.
"But I-She-Citali-urrgh! I was being nice!" He almost felt bad for arguing with Aoi, he never liked arguments, especially with her.
Aslan wagged his tail, but he felt his ears get strangely hot. He had a feeling he knew why there was a smiling Aoi behind him. "So...erm..uh...how have you been?"

ooc: Eh, I was getting used to it, but the blue is pretty <3
bic: Bayne's eyes had glanced over to Aoi. True, she was holding back a laugh...indeed...but it could still be seen, slightly. Her ears folded back slightly, not in fear, rather, a feeling of being a bit...embaressed over coming her slightly.
She turned to answer Aslan softly, "I..well...nothing really...", her sentence broken as ever, and soon, disturbed by a black mass upon her head.
"Speak up, Bayne!", the voice belonged to Chaos, the female of the Raven twins. Bayne looked upwards, and growled softly at the bird...Chaos sighed..."So you weren't joking, understood...we should have listened.
Bayne spoke through clenched jaws, her voice a mere hiss. "Yes, you should have...where is Storm? I have to speak with that raven..." Chaos tapped her talons over the varg's skull..."He flew off, knew you were upset, too scared, you know?" The Raven's optics turned to Aslan, but Bayne disrupted the Raven before she said anything by giving a quick shake of her head, and, she added in more softly..."Possibly, my dear, if it's possible..., leave if you can, please. Maybe, I won't punish the both of you as I wanted to..."
Chaos cawed softly, but nodded...and flew off through the green mass, Bayne looked over at the two pack members, then back at Aslan, that calm, timid look soon replacing those once tense features on her face...The ravens did such strange things at times...so strange, it would light a small flame of rage in her...but at times, their actions had a better after effect...if it weren't for them, she supposed that she wouldn't have met the Golden Varg before her now...
Her optics observed both Glade and Aoi for a bit...and then back at Aslan. Something caught her attention in his own eyes. She gazed closely into them, taking an ever small step towards him as well. Something was, at it seemed...missing from them. They didn't have that normal warm, happy feeling in them; they seemed slightly sad, like her own. She asked softly...maybe only soft enough for the two of them to hear..."You've...you've lost something close to you, haven't you, Aslan? I can tell...I know how..." She broke off again, a common thing for her to do. It was a way of "editing" what her heart desired to really say. Instead, she finished with..."It just seems that way...I'm right...aren't I?"
ooc: Oh, Edited! over a million times, hopefully, the reply won't change again XD

Aoi just smiled widely at Glade, not really taking his arguing for anything bad. Besides, it didn't really bother her much. It was actually rather...How should she say it? Rather...Cute the way he talked. Ah what was she getting herself into? Oh well, it wasn't that big of an issue. The ashen Drappa just continued to smile, despite the fact he was arguing. Ah, she didn't know why exactly she was smiling but she definately was, and of course, that couldn't be stopped very easily.
"Loosen up, Glade. You don't always have to act like Citali, and before you take it as one, no that is not an insult to your sister."
She continued to grin, the tips of her ivory fangs coming into view, not threateningly, though. Lifting her head up, she licked the back of his ears, still smiling. Her tail swished back and forth briskly, almost like a cub's whom had won his first cub-fight. Ah, good times for now. Atleast.

Before she had finished her sentence, his chops had opened, but they closed as she finished. He sat down in the way of an "angered" cub, the most hilarious pout on his face. Eyes narrowed, one part of his top lip in his mouth, it was like nothing he had done before, not even during his cub days. His history was too rough for this kind of behavior, and only she could get him to do it. He sighed mentally, what was he doing? He always acted this way around her, but he could never say anything but argue. And he could only stare questioningly at the other Varg around him that were always snickering. Glade continued to pout, though something inside him had let go of the original problem.
Aslan's eyes flickered to Glade and Aoi, then to the mountains, then to Bayne. This happened so quickly that it was almost too fast to see. He hoped she had seen this swift movement, though, he didn't want Glade coming in and interrupting his conversation as he usually did. Glade was his friend, but he wasn't very good with understanding what Aslan was going through, one being a Kerl struggling to keep an upbeat lifestyle while staying alive at the same time and the other a carefree pack wolf. Aslan slowly looked up at Bayne again, trying not to say anything too loudly.
"Katrina hasn't come back yet."

She hadn't caught much of the flicker in his eye, but his glance towards the mountains caused her to follow too.
Hmm, the mountain, beautiful works of art indeed. Yet they held such strong memories when pain seemed to simply embrace her like a beloved enemy, always by her side...a "trusted" friend and a prideful enemy when she ran from it.
The mountains where no place for a gentle, peace-loving creature like a dove. The mountain's sheer grace hid away all it's frightful lies and secrets....only creatures who could stare at death itself face to face and still walk on could live in the mountains.
Ah, the mountains...the only place where your own family turns their fury on one of their own...
The thoughts came by quickly, even though to her, it seemed that she had been gazing at them for such a long time. She broke her gaze off them quickly, her shut eyes where slightly dampened. What was she to say now? When ever she looked back to the mountains, nothing good came out of them, just that old friend trying to embrace her once more. She gazed back at Aoi and Glade from a corner of her half-opened eye, and then answered back to Aslan, not raising her head, but instead turning back to where she had emerged from, "Everything...everything will be...alright...She'll come back, eventually..." She layed herself down, her back facing towards all three of the others. The urge to run away again was strong in her, but the thought of Valence stopped her. She lowered her head onto her outstretched paws, and sighed...
ooc: And there's a bit of nonsense for you. Really, I wrote that all up for no good reason, let's just say, I'm bored D:

Aslan sighed, trying to understand. He knew she would come back, and he was trying to feel that, but the whole inside him was just too big. Not even seeing Bayne again could fill it, though it filled it a little. Aslan looked up at the mountains again, scathing the skies of spring, wanting to run to them and find her.
"No, Bayne, I don't think everything will be alright. Nothing will be alright, it never has been. We say everything'll be fine, but it never is..We can never see that...You never see that untill..untill you've lost someone that you think will never come back."
Aslan's dulled eyes were stronger now, without Katrina he had learned to live on his own, learned the way of the harsh world and what it was like to be a Kerl. The golden Dragga turned his face to the open river and forest.
"I once thought of myself as a Free Varg, but I am now trapped in this prison of hopelessness."
He said it half to himself, as though reciting parts of a song or a poem, but it was the words of his thoughts and the words of his heart. He was hopless without Katrina.
"I know she'll come back, Bayne, but...I just don't know how to stay alive like I used to be without her...How do you do it? You're struggling in between your siblings, and I know you are pained worse than I am, how do you do live like that when I am saddened by the loss of a simple Morning Dove?" He said it like she was nothing, he had tried to. But he felt horrible saying it, how could he say such things about her, a 'simple Morning Dove'?

She didn't know how to answer, though it was true, she knew all he was speaking of, and why not? That one unfortunate year she had seen the truth of the varg's pack, sad she had to...there could be a chance that others weren't like that certain one, but she had seen nothing else, and that was that...Living in a pack was living under the law of a pair of wolves who thought too high of them selves, simple. Their words where law. They could command to kill one of their own...even if that one was was guilty of nothing.... . She gave a soft growl, shaking her head quickly to make the false gesture of something disturbing her, when in fact she was trying to shake off the anger.
Even now, that Golden Varg behind her was starting to feel the effect of life alone. It's simply unnatural for a varg to do so, but her views, it's a free way to live, no matter the hardship.
She answered as clear as she could...even though she wanted to help...she really did, she found it hard to.
"Aslan...when you're own kind turns on you, for no good reason, and, has the urge to taste your anguish...tear you limb to limb....and have a lust of hatred for you, only because you're born into lower status than them...I suppose it's only natural you get the impression that living alone is the is the only way to, the only way to freely, and not under the law of a leader...I know everything won't be alright...Katrina is was keeps you sane, isn't she? Why do you call her a "simple morning dove" then?"
She sighed, she couldn't offer help...not even if she wanted. Nor did she expect Aslan to accept it as help either. She simply sighed again...her gaze on the mountains again...

Aslan laughed deeply, but it was hollow. There was no humor, no life, not even sadness or pain. There was nothing. The golden Varg turned a look to Glade and Aoi. They were sane. They were fine, they felt perfectly fine. And they had surely lost someone in their life. Katrina was still alive atleast. Glade had lost his whole pack to a pair of tyrants, and Aoi had a sister that took away every joy of life from Aoi. So, why was he so upset? Bayne had suffered a lifetime more than him, and she was still okay, hurt and scarred, but okay.
"I kept Katrina sane, really. But we had been fighting lately, and...I guess...with the struggle of winter and all...she just...snapped." His eyes became glassy, as he looked at the mountains again, a dark cloud creeping over the Fenris and the rest of the sky. "Looks like rain...I hope she can find shelter if she is still alive." The golden Dragga looked at Bayne again, trying to smile his carefree smile, but nothing came. There was no joy in the smile, so why even try anymore?
"Why are you still sane? You've suffered more than I have, surely you think I am acting like a cub that didn't win a scrap of fawn, why do you try to help me? Katrina could be dead, that is why I call her a simple morning dove." He paused, looking up at the dark clouds. "Still..." I want to travel up to the mountains and find her, atleast her body, so I can finally give my heart rest...
