ooc- This is open to all teh wolvies, mmkay? Yay.
ic-
The snow was finally starting to ebb away slowly. Spring itself was just beginning to grace the land with it's gentle embrace. The sun itself smiled down, it's gaze warming the land beneath it, hopes for life weren't far, either. The river had thawed, and now the gurgling sounds of the liquid splashing through rocks could be heard around the premisis. Though in the forest, those sounds were harder to detect, for a clearing within the forest, not far from the river, was secluded by trees. Though the new-spring sun still was evident from the sky, it mixed with the trees, causing light and shadows to murge with eachother, creating a marbled texture to the forest floor.
Infact, the floor of the clearing was somewhat damp, unfortunately. The snow that had lingered there so long in the winter melted, fleeing from the grasp of spring. A whisper of wind whistled through the trees, carrying the news of the day, and if you listened carefully, perhaps even a story. Though a quick one, for the wind was always busy, places to go, things to see, and never lingered in one area for too long. The arrival of spring had set the animals in a happier mood, too. Birds were starting to return, singing their songs. Squirrels chattered noisily from branches of trees, thankful for the warm sun and the light wind. Even land-dwelling animals, like mice, and other rodents, came to bathe in the warm sunlight.
Though there was also a busy air, too. Many mothers would be seen, racing around their young, which had been born in dens in late winter. A vole scurried about, trying to keep track of it's children as they scurried about, investigating this new world with curiousity. That brought a smile to a certain varg's black lips, which had been lingering in a small alcove of trees, watching the life around her. The Drappa stretched, and slid into the clearing like water, elegant and graceful. Large paws carried her swiftly to the middle of the clearing, most - if not all - of the animals recessing, leaving the potential danger behind. Though the Varg had had no intention of hurting the animals, or hunting them, pure instinct drove them to flee.
Aoi-Tsuki stretched, shaking her ivory pelt, which was as white as the snow had been when winter was new. A bird flew above her, temptingly calling down, before racing off to go about it's business. The Drappa calmed herself from the thoughts of chasing the annoyingly loud bird, and went to observe the small plants that had barely poked their way through the ground. It was then she'd realized that the lack of prey would be over, thankfully. Does would be calving, which meant more food. And more food meant fatter, stronger Varg, which would be best of all.
"Heh, it's nice to scent the familiar opening of spring," Aoi muttered to herself, gold eyes peering curiously into a log. Though unfortunately for the Drappa, a skunk had poked it's head out, spitting at the Varg. That was enough for Aoi, though, and quickly sent her to the other side of the clearing, not wishing to smell of a horrible scent. "Well, somebody's grumpy..." She added, going about her little 'inspection' of the new year.
ooc- So yeah, this is open to Kerl and Pack-Varg alike...So...'Cha.

ooc:I'm joining! If that's okay...I'm thinking of a new friendship between Aslan and Glade...both being kindhearted and all...for the most part..xD
ic:
"Glade, I'm very obliged to travel with a Varg of your standards, but..." The golden Dragga with the smiling brown optics brushed lightly through a curtain of fern leaves. Today, though, he was not smiling, casting glances towards the mountains far away, looking to the skies, searching for his beloved Katrina.
Katrina had left him during the winter out of fear, and the golden wolf had a feeling that she would return to him, just as Boreas had returned to Citali and Glade after years of waiting for him. He hoped it wouldn't take her that long, though.
"But what, Aslan? If I'm boring you with what StarWinder has to offer, you can just say so. You're too nice, you know, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if you don't like the pack." Glade smiled towards his new-found friend, as of early winter. The dark Dragga's scars looked even more livid nowadays, especially with the sun glinting on them. He shook his paw irritably as it squished into the mud.
"No, Glade, you're not boring me, it's just..." "It's just that he misses his dear Morning Dove."
Boreas, the large Eagle Owl, spoke suddenly, smooth and eerie. He spread his wings, their blue and silver backs glinting into Glade's view as he closed them again and resettled himself on the beta's shoulders.
"Aslan, if this is about Katrina, then..." Glade stopped just as Aslan was about to speak. "Don't talk, Aslan, I smell one of our pack." "Should I hide?" Aslan asked, cocking his head slightly. "No, Aslan, it's Aoi. She's the other beta of the pack." "Ah, the pretty one?" "Shut up!"
If it were possible, Glade would have been blushing. He still had that crush on Aoi, and still was as shaky as a sapling in the wind whenever he came close to confessing his love for her. The last time he had talked to her was during the winter, by the frozen river which now poured over its banks in areas of the forest.
The two Dragga and Boreas soon came to the other side of the clearing, spotting the ivory Drappa. Aslan held back a snigger, along with a yelp for Glade had stepped on his paw, purposely. Glade spoke in a small voice, trying desperately not to shout at Aslan.
"Hi, Aoi."

Aoi smelled them long before they arrived, though their conversation she couldn't hear, thanks to the wind bringing up the gurgling and rippling sounds of the river that was off a while away. Though the scent of the other Varg confused Aoi, for she hadn't known about Aslan, or even that he'd associated with Glade. Either way, it left the Drappa somewhat confused.
"Hey Glade, who's your friend?" She asked politely, dark lips pulling back into what could, with some examination, be concidered a smile. Aoi-Tsuki had raised herself from her haunches, striding over to the two as she'd greeted Glade, gazing curiously at Aslan. A small fluttering of wings alerted the silver-toned Drappa of the arrival of a certain shadowy bird, which landed uncomfortably on her back. Aoi's facial expression instantly changed to annoyance, and the Drappa spun around, trying to attack the bird on her back.
Of course, the raven knew that was coming, and took flight a split second before hand, only to land beside Aoi. Takai made a small 'kehk' noise of knowingness, and gazed at Aslan with small, beady black eyes. "This is Takai," Aoi mentioned, talking to Aslan, "If he bothers you, don't hesitate to rip his throat out." The black bird glared up at Aoi, but was rather thankful that the white Drappa was the opposite of her sibling, Nevermore, his mistress.

ooc: and now I join...with who? None other than Valence >_<, and Bayne....I can't rp one at time D:
bic:
"And by the time the Dead season comes and goes, and when you are in peace...prepare to fear his death...."...a short break, not that this current news was appealing, but what ever he'd hear next was only worse..."And, I, even if he disagrees, promise to wonderfully poison the hide of the one dearest to you, Valence, if you attempt to stop us from our claim, heed these words well, cursed creature...loosing one of your kind...take it as mercy...after what you did to us. Don't dare forget...understood?...."
The black varg had been walking in quite a bit of stress, those threatning words he heard last summer were ringing deeply in his ears, and specially at this time, when everything was coming back to life...after what they and he called, the "Dead" season. He was quite angry, as always, his gait was stiff-legged, and the fur over his entire back bristled sharply. But, he took the two serpent's threat quite well, they had proved their fury over his now sickly brother...so it was only natural that he had a bit a fear over the threat they set on his "loved one", one he was quite close too....yet hadn't seen for quite a while. Possibly, it was the reason for Valence's horrid behaviour, and now, having her threatened...he wasn't a great sight to see.
Behind him followed Bayne, which was quite a strange sight to see. The two where possibly the worst enemies possible, and she was traveling with him, when his attitude was at such a negative state. Valence supposed that she had only came around so she would have to stay back with that sick varg...and that was the truth, but currently, maybe that would have been better than traveling with him at this time...
"Valence, you aren't the only one...worried, calm down...will you?"
Valence only stormed on ahead, his ears were folded back in much anger...and his words escaped through clenched teeth..."I'm worried for a different reason, understood? I could care less if that filthy excuse for a Varg was claimed by death.....but you see, I can't allow him to die that way because of you two..." He had slowed down now, "I promise, however, if they even lay their eyes on her, I'll be the last thing they see..."
Bayne followed quietly, the serpent's threat had taken over Valence the deepest indeed, they hurt him quite well, and the effects where showing. Valence's companion was no were in sight, he was back with Zihark and Eclipse...even he didn't trust his Varg at the moment...and Bayne's two ravens where surprisingly quiet today, perched silently on her shoulders...only gazing at their varg's thundering brother.
The female of the twins spoke up silently, moving over close to Bayne's ear..."Who is he talking about?" Her brother, Strom, nodded..."Indeed Bayne, who does he speak of?" Bayne sighed..."I don't know...all I know is that it's "his beloved"...simple"
Sadly, being Ravens...they weren't very good at being "silent", and Valence over heard quite easily...only answering..."She's the only one who I seem to care for...please", a clear point of sorrow now, "don't question me any farther..."
There was silence between the ravens, Bayne was somewhat surprised he didn't react in a more tempered way, but she believed it better to stay quiet now.
Bayne slowed down after a while, lifting her nose to the air...there seemed to be others nearby...but she wasn't ready to inform Valence on this fact, she was close enough for him to easily snap at her at the moment, so instead, she kept on following, silently.
Valence too slowed down, possibly because he knew others where nearby...but it didn't cause him simmer his anger down...that was the only thing he kept constant...
ooc: Yes, the two serpents are Crux and Sempra, and yes, the two are simple Devils which seem to threaten the four...only because they're mine too ^_^;;

ooc:I'll reply shortly, but....But I guess I should start working on her...shouldn't I? Hey, Raven, is it okay if I use three wolves? I'll modify if that's not good.
ic:Glade glared at Takai for a moment, he never had liked that raven. The only reason he ever talked to Aoi's sister was so that he could find out more about the legends and stories and the mysteries of the world that just had to be wondered about.
"Aoi, this is Aslan, a Kerl from the northern forests." Aslan dipped his head low, saying softly, "Pleasure to meet you." Boreas turned his head towards the other beta, clawing at Glade's back slightly.
Glade turned his head just as he was about to say something else to Aoi. He knew these Kerls' scents, and, apparently, so did Aslan. The golden Varg was smiling a little, for one of them, a female, he had met the past winter and had indeed grown fond of her.
Now, Glade noticed, that their was the scent of birds with them, and there was another Varg scent. It was a Kerl, and a female, but other than that he knew nothing.
Raeya sniffed the air from on top of the stump, which was sitting very close to the gurgling river. Water lashed out at the land, saturating it and making it muddy. Her white fur was already stained with mud, but her green optics scanned the area no matter what.
"I know you're here, I know it..." The dual colored Drappa whispered, setting off at a sprint into the forest. There was another one with the scent she searched for, and, by the smell of it, a female. This did not anger Raeya, surprisingly, for she knew that he had family, and that it had been a whole year, now, and that he could just as well be Alpha of the largest pack in this land.
She stopped dead. She could see him from here, a dark dragga and a white drappa with two ravens. They seemed to be arguing. Raeya wanted to leap out and say something, but she held her ground. Three other Varg were watching, as well, so, if she wanted her life, she would stay put.

ooc: If Raven dear disagrees with Gina having three wolves, I promise to delete this XD Otherwise...yeah.
bic:
The two didn't travel much farther, for once, actually stopped by Valence, the features on his face were now a bit less tense.
Bayne came up a bit closer to his ear, in order to merely whisper..."Valence...she's nearby, isn't she? From the scents of the others, I suppose there are two pack members and one kerl I met over the winter, Aslan." Yes, one name she wouldn't be able to forget...that golden pelted, kindhearted varg she met not long ago..., "But...there is one quite close to us as well...it's her, isn't it?"
Valence had calmed down quite a bit, but by the news of "stranger" nearby, the ravens couldn't hold their silence much anymore, rising in a horrid chorus of cawing. Bayne had attempted to silence them, but instead, caused them to ring on even louder...
The action was quite fast, Valence bound forward, snapping at the two, while they were still perched on the White varg's back...they had flown off in time, Valence's jaws merely grazing them, and perched themselves in a nearby tree, silent. Bayne yelped softly, but that was about all...she didn't complain much, and instead moved forward a bit, looking up at her ravens; a look of obvious anger in her dark scarlet eyes.
Valence sighed...walking over to Bayne slowly, who was obviously in a state of shock..."Hmmm, sorry about that, thing is though, those ravens weren't ready to shut up...do understand, alright?" Bayne only nodded, and sat herself down. Meanwhile, Valence sniffed at the air around him, trying to confirm that the one he looked for was really nearby...

Raeya wanted to bolt out into the two Varg so badly, but she stayed put. She dug her claws into the muddy earth, deep trenches forming and quickly filling with moisture from the surrounding muck. As she watched Valence look around, she wondered if he still rememberered her. The Drappa had not heard the conversation earlier, and, the one he spoke of could just as well be someone else.
Her tail flicked against a bush, rustling the leaves and disturbing a sleeping sparrow, who flew out in rage, screaming her rage to the heavens. Raeya couldn't understand the sparrow, but she had a feeling it was cursing to Herne, this land's forest god, and to the Drappa below.
Pressing her ears to her head and putting on a guilty, goofy looking grin, she spoke mentally 'Sorry!'. But the grin was gone quickly, for she realized that her presence could have just been made known.

The ravens looked curiously at the sparrow, judging by the way it was muttering about, it had been rudely awaken...and in a complete fury. Sadly, the two were a bit too far to understand what the sparrow was muttering about, but, Storm didn't gesture to Bayne silently..."There is someone there, that Sparrow was quite disturbed...."
Bayne looked up at them, for a short while, and then nodded. Valence was quite a few paces away...but she risked being..."wrong" in her guess. But, if she was right, Valence would be happier, wouldn't he?
She walked a bit closer to him, Valence looking back at her before she said a word. "What is it?" Bayne sighed...and answered, "There's someone over there, maybe...you should...check it out?"
Valence kept his gaze steady on her for a while....but nodded after a while...taking a few steps forward, and looking back, "You stay here.....if any of those pack Varg come by, don't hold your ravens back from storming..." Actually, that wasn't the true reason for keeping her behind, but she seemed to take it quite well. Looking back once more, he grunted once, and continued on, a soft, "Raeya...please be Raeya..." escaping from his maw.

Raeya froze again, blinded by the fear and choked by its stench, she could not see nor hear Valence coming towards her. As she stood helpless and pathetic, the familiar screech of Calamity, the Ornate Hawk-Eagle, ripped into her ears.
"Run, Raeya!" He screeched, his golden eyes gleaming with worry. He could not tell who Valence was, for he had never met the Dragga.
Raeya bolted out of the bushes, stumbling and rolling over herself into a bush, her tail over her nose as she lay upside down, her eyes clenched tight in fear.

He had been walking at a rather slow pace, not for the sake of being...lazy, rather, being careful and taking note of everything he passed by.
His head shot up, however, at the sudden sound of the screaching of a type of Raptor...and the sudden crashing of someone else...His stance suddenly turned from the slow walk into a full bound. He was sure it was her, that familiar scent now strong as ever.
And indeed, he was right...it was her...nothing could mistake that wonderfully twin-colored varg...at least...he couldn't. He was ready to bound forwards again, finally a sort of joy over coming him...but he stopped a few paces before...seeing her companion, the Hawk-Eagle. From his experience, both eagles and hawks were hugely protective of their wolf...he knew from that from Sol, Shadow, and Astron very well. Instead, however, he lowered his head slightly, and spoke a soft..."Raeya?", and waited...

The Raptor stirred, his head snapping around to glare into the Varg before him. His golden eyes burned him through, he now seemed to be staring through him, past him, avoiding his eyes. Raeya remained still, fighting back chills that clutched her spine. Her tail remained over her eyes, the only noise that defensive, croaky screech of the raptor next to her, and the delicate clinking of the tambourine bells with each terrified breath.
In his screech, the bird breathed something to her, awed and disturbed. He was said to be angry, infuriated easily, and dangerous. But Raeya had looked for him since he left their southern pack, and he could not just leave her to cringe.
"Mistress Raeya, it's him, it's the one you told me about."
Raeya's eyes exploded open, she leapt to her feet, stumbling a little.
"Valence?"

Valence's head lifted at the sound of her voice, and, for this first time in a long, long while, his tail gently wavered. His bristled fur flattened back into its spot, and what seemed as a smile had come across his black maw...
Again, he wanted to bound forward towards Raeya, but that raptor so near her was stopping him, and he sighed softly..."Raeya, that raptor...tell him I'm no threat to you..."
