ooc: Hrm, It's been a while since I've rped, so, sorry if I've become a bit...lame D: I've been more focused on Gaming and Drawing anyways but anyhow, mostly because I want to introduce you to Zihark and Sol...along with my Bayne
bic: The area was covered with a soft, new blanket of snow...rather pleasing to the eye actually, and quite calm indeed...though the cold wasn't much of a bother for the two wolf cousins...
The two were Bayne, the so called "cursed" she-wolf, and her older cousin Zihark, whom she'd grown close to when she was very young, though they hadn't seen each other for a long while...unlike her brothers, Bayne was rather close to Zihark, possibly the only explaination for why she actually seemed...happy.
Zihark's past wasn't known much by others, nor did others, from here atleast, knew him...he was rather new to this area...but to him, it was nothing but a fresh memory...
"I can't believe it's really you...really, and at first, I could have sworn you where just another stranger...but....but..."
"But it was I indeed, Bayne, of course, I am nothing but a stranger to those who walk along these grounds, but, trust me so, I say, I've been watching you and your brothers for a rather long time, and it was somewhat difficult to see you three not notice...but alas, what is one to do? For most of the time, it is only I, and Sol..."
Sol rustled her golden feathers, a large golden eagle perched on his shoulder. "Hmm, Indeed, just you and I, Zihark...though unlike you, I don't appeal to this cold..."
Bayne sighed...unlike Zihark's companion, her two Ravens had flown off for a while now...it was natural for the two to go off, but the two where all she had...and winter always took them apart; not a pleasent part of her miserable life at all...but at least Zihark was here, for this one time...
Zihark turned to his eagle..."You know, you could have went off with the other eagles as well, and came back when warmer weather would choose to come back, so why not?"
Sol sighed..."Like you, I am nothing but a shadow for the Eagles, who cares for me? That is why I stay...now don't ask again...please..." She gazed off into a distant area...possibly in the search for something to eat...
"Zihark, at least she's with you, at least you have a companion with you year round....you really shouldn't take that easy, hmm?"
Zihark nodded, "I suppose, hunting is always easier with a winged friend...either that, or you follow packs, and pick off what they leave behind..."
Bayne silenced Zihark at this..."For a while, I tell you, I do that myself...please, do keep that quiet though...the leaders of the pack of this area come by without warning, I don't want to suffer anymore...please understand." Zihark nodded, "Of course"
For a while, the two just kept walking...though a strange sense of much lonliness was starting to fall on Bayne, Zihark was content with his eagle...she merely watched...

You know Narnia is based of Christianity? Really

ooc:Yup! Not to offend anyone, but, to me, Aslan represents Jesus the Son of God, and the big Stone Table represents the Cross, and the White Witch was Satan the Devil! Death could not hold Christ, and the White Witch could not hold Aslan!
ic:Just a distance west of these two walked Aslan, sturdily built and proud. For a Kerl, he seemed far too full of pleasure to be real, but he was real, and he did not consider himself a Kerl at all, but a servant to all.
Aslan did not come from this land, but a land much warmer and very different from this place. He was new in the country and had been exploring.
The soft beat of wings and the delicate, small pain of short talons scraping into his thick coat came upon him as Katrina, his morning dove and companion, lighted onto his shoulder.
"Good morning, Lord Aslan." It was very odd, he did not wish to be called by such a title other than Aslan, but Katrina called him lord. It had started as sir, moved to sire, and now it was lord. She would not call him anything else but a title and his name.
"Good morning, Katrina, find anything in this beautiful country?" Katrina laughed a little, a delicate quoo-ing sound coming from her short, orange tinted beak. This country was not beautiful at all in this season of midwinter, it was a lonely, hostile, angry place, but Aslan found it lovely and a blessing to be there.
"No, Lord, I did not find anything but two Varg," Both wolf and dove had already learned the language of the nearby pack, "who were talking to eachother. They did not see me, atleast I think, when I flew over, but they got quiet very swiftly, yes."
Aslan had already started to head east, now, towards these two Varg that had been talking. By the time he reached them, it was midday.

The two had continued on there way, however, Sol sat on her spot, silent and very still as well, a sort of blank stare in her eyes...as if concentrated on a certain being or such...
Bayne noticed, but thought that this was normal...for that certain eagle...Sol was always an outcast, known to hold a certain stance for a while...making her somewhat...feared, as one would describe amoung others...it was said Sol was looking back at her past whenever she sat still like that...but it seemed that wasn't the case, this time at least...
"Zihark," She said, rather plainly, "there seems to be the presence of another nearby, shall I go take a look? Or shall we wait? Tell me your heart's true desire..."
Zihark and Bayne stopped, now that she had spoken of it, there did seem to be the scent of another nearby...of the pack, or another Kerl...it was a bit difficult to tell, the Winter scents never had much power...
Zihark nodded, "If you please, take a look, but don't do anything, just come back as fast as possible, we'll be here..."
Sol didn't answer back, and lift off into the air. The flight wasn't long, the other Varg seemed to be not very far away, but that wasn't what completely caught her eye...rather, the dove...Doves, such pleasent, peaceful creatures really...she had a respect for them...for her own reasons...she guessed if this kerl traveled with a Dove, he couldn't be a threat, Doves seemed to stay with peaceful creatures...so she didn't return back to Zihark and Bayne right away, and instead, circled over head.

ooc:It's very good...I like the books, too, but the movie was better in my opinion..
ic:Katrina lifted her head to the skies, screeching a little up to the one circling. Aslan did nothing at all, but look back at his companion, a pleasantly contented smile upon his maw.
"Katrina, leave the bird alone. It's just circling, there's no harm done."
"Yes, Lord, but..."
"There's no harm done, Katrina, leave it be."
With that, the Dove was silenced. Aslan continued to walk nearer and nearer to the two other Varg, for he was now positive that he had heard a conversation.
Though he wanted to see what was going on, he did not want to interrupt them, or make himself their next meal by barging in. Katrina made a half-lift off, but Aslan caught her and gently took her down with a cunning, gentle paw-stroke. Aslan sighed a little, her short screech would have given them away already, but he would stand his ground untill he was sure about being spotted.

So the other Varg was close, Sol could return now.
Bayne, however, was in no mood to meet another...Her ears turned back, and her voice was in a whisper now..."Zihark, let's go...please..."
Zihark looked at her somewhat suprised..."You are not going to stay, rather, run away? But why? It's another Kerl, what threat is in it?"
Bayne shook her head..."I don't trust others...not even family....."
Zihark cut her off..."You mean, not even me?"
Bayne shook her head, "You're different, like a brother a wolf like me longed for...but for others....If I can run off unnoticed, I'm fine...at times, they appear without warning, and I'm forced to stay in their company..."
Zihark sighed, sitting himself down. "We're not going anywhere, as long as that unknown varg is out of sight, we're staying here, understood?"
This was the thing of her Cousin, he said something, and he would stick with it...she had no use detesting, he wasn't going to listen. Reluctantly, she slowly layed herself in the snow, lying her head on her forepaws and sighing...Curious how Sol hadn't returned yet...
Above, Sol sighed, the two weren't going to move on farther because of Bayne...so she would watch the others for a while longer.
ooc: hehe ^_^;; and sorry if at times Zihark and Sol talk...strange...they just...do ;

ooc:Replying now!
ic:Katrina didn't like just sitting and waiting for nothing at all. Aslan just wanted to sit and listen, he never did like to get into the action, they always got into action when her Lord's half-sister was with them, perhaps she would show up, then again, Katrina deeply dreaded the Snake-Wolf's coming...
It was as though she could sense Katrina's thoughts about her. She had been trying to hunt, but had been unsuccessful. Nagini, velvet footed in the snow, slinked down the mountainside, and, by scent, found her half-brother and his Dove.
"Ah, hello, Nagini." Aslan smiled warmly, but did not expect anything from the Drappa in turn.
"WHat are you doing here, Aslan? Spying on these two, I see...? Hmmm...?"
Aslan shook his shaggy head, Katrina desperate to hold on. "No, I was just watching them, not listening..."
