The keral's steady, assertive footfalls marked his presence alongside the calm waters, his paws heavily landing atop the soil, un-careing for the amount of noise he made. His muli-hued eyes were cast toward the clear river, peering into its surface though his mind was pondering something elsewhere.
A breeze brushed across the lands, sending ripples across the waters and toying with the edges of his grizzled-brown pelt. Abrubtly he came to a halt, maw riseing to allow his nose to attempt and pick up a scent of a prey animal, though it failed. Instead he reclined to his haunches, shifting his gaze from the river to the heavens.
Where are you, my love? Why won't you come back, my love? I'm waiting for you to come back, I'll always be waiting for you to come back. I need you, Krys.
He slowly lowered his gaze toward the ground, and though no tears entered the corners of his eyes, inwardly he greived her death.
And after this many moons, why can I not forget her? He mused sadly, sighing heavily. If this is what love does to you, why do people love love so? Another sigh realesed from his maw, and his previous, steady walk picked up once more, though this time his paws were almost silent as they struck the ground, for this time he intended on finding a meal.
He picked up the heavy scent of reigndeer, yet he knew they would be much too larger for a mere kerl to take down alone, so instead he continued his pace, thoughts secluded and facial expression un-varying.
Ooc:// Er... I'll just continue by myself, unless another person wants to join in, but he's not currently looking to join a pack, considering he's er... not exactly submissive and wouldn't do well in a pack. Eventually he'll give into the fact he can't live like a loner and will join one. xP
