ooc:Instead of Green-Eyed...She's the jealous type.
ic:Melodious choruses of river birds blended with the crashing waters of the waterfall. Mountaintops could be seen from the air, surrounded by thick forest, transparently cloaked by swiftly evaporating mist from the falls themselves.
Argent occuli rested gently upon a thin-necked egret of ivory hue, hunger roaring in her blood. The golden tinged, dying slowly from the drought that had hit the land, foliage hid her quite well.
The thick winter coat she had sported two seasons ago had completely dropped off, leaving a lean, feminine form behind. Ivory flooded down her chin, all the way to the insides of her back legs, repeating itself again in the tipping of her tail.
Otherwise, she was black. Filled with the velvety deepness of the night, the dulled hues of the dry land gave her the upper hand in every hunt.
Velvet footed, she stalked her prey. The egret, too absorbed into staring at its own reflection, was too late when it made for the skies, its right wing clenched tight in Drea's jaws.
"Mighty fine catch, Drea." She said to herself, her smile wide, eyes narrow, sly and cruel looking. "Why thank you, Citali, too bad you couldn't catch anything for your life!" Drea began to laugh, a cackle worse than a raven's. She despised her cousins, especially Citali, ever since she learned that she and her brother had high positions in a pack of their own.
She should have a pack of her own. Her mother had always told her that she had the right qualities of a leader. Citali didn't. She got angry at everything, then again, Drea was just as cruel. Neither one admitted it, not even in their naive cubhoods.
Drea stared at the dead egret, still bleeding, and turned toward the waterfall's deep pool. A swim would be nice before eating. There was a rock she could jump off of, water was becoming scarcer by the day, why not take advantage of what you had?
Splash! The water was soothing, ridding her fur of mosquitoes and other insects, looking for any source of liquid, bodily or not, on anything they found. She kept her eyes on her prey, though, no one would eat the prey that even Citali would be jealous of but her.
ooc:As you can tell, she's kind of jealous..I'm thinking it's Drea who kills her...Yeah, sorry it's bad, Drea's not very developed in roleplays just yet.
