ooc:For anyone who wants to join...I'll be using my newest character, Lumina.
ic:Thick tendrils of mist wrapped around her paws, damp sand's crunch nowhere to be heard under silent pads. The only sound was the pushing and pulling of the water at low tide, jagged rocks, shells, and tiny feeding clams jutting out from the covering sand. The soil was a dark, pallid gray, blending perfectly with the eerily dark, mirrorlike waters.
Crouching, not even her brilliantly pink tongue or the gray-blue sky, shrouded by the thick covering of fog, was reflected on the dark waters as she drank. Her ears twitched, whiskers quivering lightly the scent of a flounder became apparent from the surface of the water. With the flash of an large paw, the flounder was up on the dirty colored banks, bleeding where she had bitten it and flopping painfully about on the feild of rocks, sharpened by the constant grating of sand on one side.
Her yellow-green, semi-translucent optics flashed as the final flop from the flounder was made. The tigress made no move towards it, however, only stared into the mist with a casual turn of her head. It was so thick this time of day, early morning when the owls are only just reaching their havens of daytime rest, and when the sun is only just opening his eyes on the world. Her short, course pelt of an apricot hue stood out a little against the dull scenery, onyx ribbons shining as bright and obscure as the mirrored waters of which the flounder had come from. The thick, muddy strip of leather, holding a large black box with many buttons and missing shafts of plastic, hung around her neck, but it seemed to not be a problem. A shining, almost luminous underside seemed to be cloaked in mist, tendrils draping around her like a cloak.
Her ears shifted again, straight and alert, one paw lifted into the air, the other standing right in front of the fish, her elegant, massive, streaked bodice trailing behind it, ending in a thin, lashing tail. Perhaps it had only been an owl, reaking a final havoc on a group of mice before it went into its daytime slumber, but it hadn't sounded like it. It sounded...bigger. The mist hid their scent, whatever it was. Lumina would not get her prey snatched away from her, not this time.

The fog was nothing but a distraction...a thick, unkind enemy, of no use at all.
He had gone for a while without food, a few days was all, and he had recently caught a pleasant morsel, a large hare. But, he wasn't able to keep it for himself; stealing, as it seemed, was easier than hunting. Food wasn't scarce, but it was, however a chore to catch anything because of a golden chain given to him by a young human. It was rather annoying, the soft clashing noises it made as he walked gave his position away. Prey would run from him, and his location was quickly known by others. The fog had engulfed the other one quite well, and it was almost unfair how mercilessly his kill had been taken away.
He grunted as he continued to walk on. His silken white, black banded fur was scuffled slightly, and his left shoulder was clawed down quite well. Why was he cursed in such a manner? But it was fine, at least he still had his life, his silken coat was still his. He lift his nose to the air...water nearby, plentiful with fish....and another as well, lovely. He didn't want to meet another, not after such a confrontation. But, what trouble would it be to grab a bite, and leave unknown? He couldn't...not unknown at least, so he'd wait.
He approached the water source a bit more, more so to watch the other one. Quite a delicate sight really, a lovely golden-pelted tigress. Yet still, he wasn't ready to confront another yet. That lovely chain that ungracefully adorned his neck had caused many to reject him. Why? They saw him as weak...there where those who were born into human captivity, and those who were caught even after they where born to the wild. The later group was seen as a weaker cast, seeing they were bested by humans in their own home. The ones born into captivity had no choice, and to escape with a human's mark was something to be proud of. He belonged to the later cast, as fate would have it...
Unfair? Obviously...being caught by humans this way destroyed any hint of honor he had in him. It was a simple, yet strong rule, and there was no turning from it.
Instead, he laid himself down, the grass around the borders of the water source wasn't long enough to fully conceal a feline of his size, but the fog did a rather...fine job. He lowered his head to the ground, the chain chiming ever so softly as he did so. He sighed, his ears folding back slowly in annoyance, but he wasn't ready to move now, and instead, he watched the Nolla before him, through soft, unblinking golden optics.
ooc: crud-full-ness D: And Golden and Orange are the same, understood? -lol-

Torra was wondering around the territory that she lived in. Even though she was a tiger which is usually solitary, she enjoyed living in the pack of the storm. She was a Marshall! who would believe it, she was born into captivity, but yet she was a Marshall. Now that she had learned how to hunt, and how to lead hunting groups and other things like that. she was wondering around Ghost Bay, not doing anything important just having a little walk. Then she caught a whiff of a couple more tigers scents, not much but enough to put her on alert. she stayed close to the ground, even though her coloring would basically make her disappear in this thick fog. She heard the oh so familiar sound of human chains chiming. Humans? she thought, here? she sniffed, but there wasn't any fresh human scent around here. Through all her thinking, she was so distracted that she bumped into another being. She took a whiff of this Lera, it was a tiger. It smelled like the Nox she had smelled earlier. "Sorry." Torra said before backing off.

Delicate clinking desturbed her not, though her tail straightened at the very tip, showing that she was aware that she was not alone. Nox or Nolla, she could not tell it's gender, or if it was from the bizarre pack of cats called Storm she had already heard so much about from a vulture in the mountains and his companion, a cougar of a quite morbid personality.
Thin rays of pale gold light melted the mist as though it was the last ice of the winter, disappearing fast from the swiftly rising spring. Scents became clearer, the scenery began to hold color, and the second tiger was seen.
A snarl bubbled in her throat, but it did not reach her mouth. There was another scent nearby, very close, almost as close as the Nox before her. A Nolla. His mate, perhaps? No, not his mate. He looked, for the most part, one who wished to be solitary, one who wouldn't have a mate like her. She also observed the tigress' expression, one of mistake and appology. No. They were not mates.
The golden tigress then noticed his chain. He had been with humans, too. Her snarl died in her throat, her features grew less tense. The radio collar upon her neck sank a little as her muscles loosened their tense grip on her throat. She noticed the hare near him, and she quickly glanced at the flounder. Did she really need it? Would one that wore a give-away chain need it more than her?
Her voice was quiet, serene, lovely and light. "Hello, there...I see they've marked you, aswell..."

The nolla who had bumped into him caused him to get up with a bit of a shock, though he did not bare any aggressive features, nor did he give a loud growl, which where the most popular of reactions. Instead, he only folded his ears back slightly, and took a few steps back, the heavy-golden, loosely hanging chain around his neck chiming loudly
It seemed there was not only one Nolla, but two of them. He had smelled another nearby, but not this close. He turned to the one that had just appeared, and observed her first. Another lovely sight. She owned a milky ivory coat like he himself did, and, judging by her reaction, was a kind creature. But judging by reaction was not a way to judge. It seemed all of them owned a soft hearted nature at first. He dipped his head slowly, no smile or such across his maw, and anwsered a small, "It's alright..." to her.
He turned his eyes to the Golden nolla he had been watching. It seemed that she was curious enough to make her way to him, but then again, with a human's mark that was so noticable, who wouldn't be lured to him? He was a bit surprised at her comment, but understood what she spoke of when he observed the leather bound box like object around her neck. He gave a small nod of his head as an answer to her "hello", and answered, "Yes, I happened to be bound by them a few years back. "

"I sort of have a mark because I was raised by humans. Not all of them are mean, but only few are kind." Torra said turning to the Nox "My name is Torra and I am the Marshall of the pack of the storm. Anyway whats your name?" Torra did not like showing off her title, even though she was proud of it.

He turned his head again, taking a few steps back, and sitting himself down, his head lowered slightly, his ears soon standing normally once more.
He shook his head at her comment..."I can't agree with you on that. The ones who had taken me....had....taken quite good care of me. But it was only so my fur's condition would be enhanced. They wanted it...only to add to their collection." He sighed, what was the use of telling anyone? No one cared, did they?
"My name is...Palisade, happy to meet you, Torra." He turned to the Golden Nolla, "And your name, miss?"

ooc: I'm back, should my other characters Leo and jade join? I haven't rp multiple characters on a topic or post before.
ic: "I was raised by one, he was very nice. You see they kept me in a cage, on display. there were more tigers there, but none of them wanted to go anywhere, they thought escape was impossible, we didn't want to escape because they where cruel, It was terribly boring there. every day was the same, wake up, go swim, go eat stake, drink, perhaps swim some more, then relax and sleep the rest of the day. Our keepers were OK, but the ones watching us shouted things like "Do something!" or they would throw things at us. Our vet who kept us healthy, shot me with a sleeping dart. When I awoke I felt weird for awhile, and betrayed, but they didn't do anything else bad to me. One day I decided to escape, so I did. that was my experience with humans." Torra said before grooming herself, then she continued, " the nicest human I met was the one who raised me, his name was Felix."

ooc:
ic:A low, though not threatening, snarl rumbled in her throat, cords of muscle tightening and vibrating as the rumble fluttered about. There were quite too many here, she should have stayed out of the Pack territory, she was not looking for anything but food and a little peace and quiet. Not many of the Pack cats had been wandering about their own territory, why now? Why when she had to come? She swore mentally, blasted radio collar. The scent of the humans must have drawn them to a tighter area.
She would not give her name, not untill she figured out every little piece of information she could possibly need about these two tigers. Her tail flicked irritably. She did not want to hear a story about humans, nor did she want to hear a soft-footed human-lover talk about her life before this very moment. The tigress struggled not to roll her eyes, but it wasn't going very well. Instead, she twisted elegantly towards the Nox.
"For your coat, you say? Humans did it to keep an eye on me, untill I grew older, I don't know what they would have done, but I broke it before I was old enough...Or big enough." She eyed the chain again. "Broken?"

"So you think I'm a human lover eh? how do you think I escaped?" Torra may have been raised by humans but the only one that she did trust a little was felix. pretty much all humans were mean, but only few were a little kind to others that were not of their species. In her excape she injured about two, and maybe killed one or two humans. She was only about weeks old when she let humans touch her, but a six months old not one human, not even felix could touch her.

The nox observed both of them, how he wanted to escape ever so quickly, but, his expression showed not a single sign of it, not at all.
He answered the orange-pelted tigress, though his head didn't change it's position. "Yes, furs, of not only felines, yet it seemed they took the coats of wolves, foxes...and prey. Our coats seem to hold most value to them, what wonderful care they had taken of me to get it's tattered state into their own liking." He sighed, "But they where kind enough to bind me like their hounds, and even if I was able to escape, the chains that held me where never able to be broken fully." He looked around at both of them. True, this Golden-pelted one had a Human's mark upon her too, but to his own knowledge, it wasn't a disruptive mark. "Both of you are blessed with the ability to travel in silence, unknown of completely, " he gave a quick grunt, the features of his face now noticablly tense, "yet these chains have taken away that skill away from me completely. That," he said, now turning his golden optics towards the white Nolla, ", is why I find it hard to believe humans could have a good side to them. They had taken care of me...for my coat. They are creatures that cannot be trusted, no matter how kind they seem, never." He glanced around once more, they same thought running through his mind for a Nolla. Delicate creatures of a species, but their nature could never be trusted by only the way they acted. But, these where his own thoughts, he kept that fact to himself.
ooc: uh...heh?
