The felines use the same vocabulary, the males called Toms and the females called She-Cats, or, in the more formal way of males being called Nox and the females called the Nolla. Or just males and females! I made this all up with a little influence from my greek mythology class!
Male "Cat":Tom/Male/Nox
Female "Cat":She-Cat/Female/Nolla
"Cat" Goddess:Nyx, a beautiful white cougar of enormous size, blue eyed. It is said that she wears a helmet of gold, gleaming in beauty. Nyx is sometimes worshipped as the Great Goddess, with Herne, Great God of the Forests, but she is mostly worshipped as the Cat Goddess, Goddess of Love and Beauty, Children and the Dawn and Sunset.
