ooc: Alright, this is very long, I don't expect you to read the entire dream, maybe...halfway through xD, unless you have much time, go ahead and read...other wise, I suggest to start reading from the middle of the dream and onwards Alright, let's continue
bic:
Night was heavy, and its usual starry sky was veiled with a blanket of darkened clouds. They held the heavy sign of rain for hours now, but since they had revealed themselves, there hadn’t been a drop of rain evident.
A lone figure traveled in the night, her form a silent shadow. She had escaped all their company, what she going to do was better done in solitude, better done when no one was around. No one could stop her, ask why she wanted too…she could do it all in peace, and best of all, in silence. No one would witness it, and her pain would be all released.
Her ivory fur looked chalky, its lustre had seeped away as she walked, those crimson eyes, those cursed optics had seemed to lose their life’s light within them; they looked hollow and expired, truly, the end was near, today…it would be done.
She had walked a great deal, to a desolate area. The destination she chose was plain, the plants that grew around it were wilted, dead, and soon, her figure would be the same too. Her face was drenched in her own tears, silent tears…that she learned to shed alone.
She made her way to the peak of the elevated area, and sat her self, looking upwards to the sky. The clouds where shifting slowly, towards her, breaking small areas within them, revealing the soft, star-painted sky they had veiled for this long. It was as if the clouds had kept it the sky hidden, and was now revealing it, for her, and her alone.
She sighed, her eyes still to the sky, and she smiled softly, “Hello my friend…” The thunder, which was hidden in the hearts of the clouds, seemed to reply to her greeting, nothing harsh, just a soft, yet mighty rumble in the skies above. They billowed closer, as if to listen to a weary friend.
She continued on, “My friend, it’s been a while, hasn’t it? It seemed you left me to for a while…” The wind picked up in response, a soft gentle wind, brining along with it, a red hued blossom that landed softly before her. She looked down at it, and smiled… “There is no need to ask for forgiveness, hasn’t everyone left me? You are my most faithful friend, you listen when I’m weary…I can never regret that…” The clouds gave a low rumble again.
The white she figure continued on yet again, “My friend…I have a favour to ask of you…” Her words started to choke again, it was a tough, this choice she was making, alone…without no consent, but then again, who could she share any thoughts with? Their reaction was to tear her, look at her with hate in their eyes. Who would care if there were one less creature on the earth? Her thoughts where pushed away, and she turned those lifeless eyes to the clouds again. “When you travel, my friends, you travel together, you never stray alone…and you’re always at peace.” The clouds thundered softly in agreement. “My dear friend…when you move on tonight…take me with you…”
The wind had picked up again, this time, in a harsh way. It ran swiftly through the forest. The trees seemed to answer for the storm above; their clashing branches seemed to cry, and the grass below moaned as the wind made its way back to the clouds. The wolf talked no more, and instead, looked to the sky. The storm seemed to now move away from her, and she only whispered, standing up, her eyes glowing with tears, their dead look as vivid as ever.
“So you turn away from my request as well? The Gods them selves have turned their backs to me, and now you too, my friend? You’re leaving me here as well, leaving me to suffer on like I have?” The wind had stopped…as if her words had cut into them deeply…
“Grant me this request…at least cry along, so this one asking you doesn’t have to cry alone anymore…please, don’t turn you back to me…I’m not welcome here…”
There was a bit of silence for a while, and then it happened…it rained, a soft, calming rain…a peaceful rain, the tears of the sky itself. She sat herself, and watched on. The lightning came, a colourful show in the skies above her. And one of them had embraced her. It was quick, and sudden, and she spoke softly, with a small smile… “Thank You…my friend…”
The limp body the life had once lived in was standing for a while, for how long…it was unknown. But those dead eyes regained their shine for the last time. The rolled back slightly, and then where shut, the ivory figure soon followed, and lay calmly on the cliff of the elevated area. No fur had been burnt, no damage done to it…it was just an empty shell now, once living, and now gone…
The wind blew on once more, and the rain continued. Breaks in the sky happened here and there, revealing the sapphire sky it veiled. The clouds rumbled once more, and continued on. Nothing but the gentle sound of rain remained.......
-------------------------------------------------
Her eyes opened, in a snap really. Strange, was that a dream, or did she really die? Her ivory head rested on her forepaws, and she lay there, eyes open, trying to take her surroundings in. There was a rumbling of thunder, and her eyes merely moved upwards. The skies where churning with a great smog of ebon clouds. It seemed a storm was approaching.
She lifted her head, and yawned, pawing at her eyes, and looking around. Her three siblings where huddled together, sleeping like they had hours before. The fact of a storm turning overhead didn’t seem to bother them. They slept like newborn whelps, without a fear of the outside world.
She sighed, Draggas where such strange creatures. This was partially the reason she would completely disappear from their presence during the months that hosted winter, when they acted up the worse.
But she shook her head; she had to focus on that dream. Did it show some truth, did it show her…demise? She had seen the type of death her Mother would face a day before it happened. She grunted, if only that dream showed what was to happen to her, she'd run away like her mother had told her to, and maybe, not be scarred so harshly. She growled ever so softly to her self, just a soft, slow rumble in the pit of her throat.
After a while though, after she was fully awake, She stood from her resting area and stretched. Her silky coat was tainted with a soft amber hue. Why it changed colors during spring, summer and fall was unknown, but it tainted anyways.
She had to find that place, that area she was to lay her life down at, and now. She took a few paces forward, and she heard a shuffling. She looked back, just the shifting of her brothers, that was all. She hesitated to explore, what if one of them followed? Her dream showed her alone, so she had to, her heart told her to.
She waited for a while, and then continued on her walk, looking back ever so often. After they where out of view, her walk turned into a run, a swift, quick run.
The run had gone on for a short while. She ran to the borders of the forest, into open plains. The mountain range was in view, a currently, her destination seemed to be embedded in them somewhere. But she stopped dead, and only looked forward. The storm continued to build, a soft, calming gale started to blow.
Why did she stop? The fact that she was on the border lines of the pack was what caused her to discontinue her run. So she merely laid her self down once more, this time, her gaze to the storm above her.
It was strange, but, she tried what she did in her dream, she spoke, softly, “You’ll help me one day, will you?” There was a loud clash of thunder, almost as though it had replied to her. Her ears laid back, and she continued to look upwards. The cloud’s dance was appealing to her, and it seemed to bring her a bit of peace…she sighed, her gaze still on the storm.[/size]
