Bayne, mostly named after WolfBane, but also for her furious anger...not a kind soul, though she fought with it...the appearence of the newcomer made her anger rise admirably, but the admirable part was how she kept the anger silent...one pack member was enough, two was going to far...but she kept silent...and nodded towards the one called "Kesh" in return to his greeting...She calmed after a while, and curled herself beside the tree base she stood by...her breath was deep and furious, it was known...but she kept as silent as possible..."Such stories are true...believe me...I myself would know..."
Above a couple of crows had perched themselves, and who where a becoming quite annoying...unlike the other birds, they where pleased to annoy Bayne...but today she was not to spare them...She stood, and gave a growl...staring hard into their eyes...they laughed at first...but one was unfortunate enough to make dirrect eye contact...and from then, it wasn't able to move away from Bayne's glare...she growled once more...and the other had flew off, but the one who had caught her eyes silenced...and died...She watched it fall and then looked to the ground....she had to find a way to stop this temper...she caused death by her anger......the rumors where true....

Glade smiled up at the Raven as one lighted on his shoulder. "Strange birds around here..." Even though he acted quite happy, Glade couldn't help the fact that all the stories of Wolfbane's pact with the flying scavengers were running through his head.
"Bayne, if you want to believe your dreadful tales are true, than go on. But I'm not going to believe them, because I know that every Varg has a chance. Wolfbane had a chance, and he threw it away. He loved the ways of the world, he loved the light and the Varg just like Tor and Fenris did, but because he would not obey the wishes of Fenris, he threw away his choice and was doomed to the darkness forever. If that's how you want your life to be, than fine. There is nothing I can do."
Glade felt strongly about Bayne, that she needn't be shunned like she felt she should. But Bayne was like Citali, her head was harder than Fenris' fangs.

Kesh shook his head. "Be what you may." He growled, eyeing the dead bird. "But the day you find me believing the Herla's gossip is the day Fenris disappears and the world is plunged into an eternal night."
He snapped at the raven that had flown near them. He wasn't particularly fond of scavengers, and this one was nothing more than that. Eagles, he much prefered, or even a small falcon. But never a crow or raven.

Glade reared on his hind legs as Kesh snapped, snapping at the First Warrior's muzzle in return. Glade wasn't fond of scavengers himself, but there was something different about this one. The raven had an odd look in its eyes, and it seemed to be looking deeper into him than Glade could possible imagine. It was as if this creature was looking past his inards and straight into his soul.
As he looked at the raven, he remembered something Citali had told him when they were cubs. "The eyes are the window into the soul." He now knew that she must have gotten it from someone else, but the way the raven looked at him, it was quite frightening.

Kesh jerked his muzzle away by reflex. He wasn't close enough to the raven to see into its eyes, and so he had no notion of why Glade and snapped at him. He didn't mention it though. Ravens were strange and foreign enough. He didn't much enjoy the prospect of hanging near the Kerl, or looking at her for that matter. So much was going on at once.

The raven quickly lighted off of his shoulder just as Glade's paws hit the ground again. He shuddered, for that raven had been so farmiliar to him, yet he had never seen it before. The detailed image of the raven was the only thing he could not get out of his mind, that is, besides the thoughts of Wolfbane and the blood pact from the stories.
The raven was black as pitch, with a scar like a cross with an 'X' through the points where it intersected. Scattered flecks of yellow-black dotted its chest, and its eyes were a blood red. Its backside was probably the same, hideous like the veil that covered one of its eyes. Glade had failed to notice the silver band around its left talon, marked with the same symbol as the scar on its chest.
