ooc:-sighs-...Sorry....Heh, Loka's a warrior now, with Nevermore! xD
ic:His only movement was subtle, a delicate jerk of the neck, muscles straining in the summer night's heat, lamps flickering and dying swiftly again. The hairs on the back of his neck prickled at the sudden action, simply stepping aside to let it pass as if nothing was happening.
The feeling, the reaction, it was all so strange. Perhaps the heat was getting to him, perhaps it was only the night, or the place. Tor's mirror had always made him feel odd, ever since he had first come here with Citali after they discovered it on the StarWinder lands. He didn't know. Everything moved slowly, slower than it should have, it almost seemed to stop. All sound stopped, just for a moment, long enough for him to look around.
And then Nevermore was talking to him again, right in front of him. It caused his head pain, like it had just happened. It had just happened, right? The dark Drappa had just said what she was saying now just a moment ago, hadn't she?
And then Aoi was struck in the eye, that had just happened, too...Hadn't it? Glade shook his head, his eyes glowing apathetically. He stared at Aoi for a long time, before finally shaking his head, and padding closer to her.
"Are you alright, Aoi? I don't know what just happened..."
He didn't turn to Nevermore, he didn't want to. What if she was talking to him again, for the third time, what if everything stopped again, and what if something worse happened? He just kept his eyes on Aoi's, thinking nothing of the blood, only thinking of the fear that pounded inside him.
ooc:-sighs- I've been playing way to much KH2...

ooc- Yay Loka! I don't think I'm gonna kill Aoi off though. -Nod.- I luff her too much.
ic-
The silver Drappa whimpered, her stomach pressed roughly against the ground. The black Drappa on her back had removed herself, leaving a long, fluid line of blood to stain her ivory fur. With that, the darker Varg left, the bird trailing behind her silently. The area was dark, much darker than it had been, though the mirror itself shined up brightly under the face of Tor, the moon. Aoi stuck out as well, her ivory-crimson fur reflecting the moonshine almost as well as the lake did. Her eyes were clamped shut, her right one bleeding badly. By now the bodily fluid had seeped down the side of her maw, staining half of her face it's ugly shade. Nevermore had left without a scratch, yet the older Drappa had managed to be beaten and mangled. Though her ears had picked up Glade's words, and though her mind was still in a defensive mode, could understand what shock he could, should, be going through.
"I-I'm fine," She lied, managing her way upward, lifting her shaking frame. "I- My eye just..Hurts."
She couldn't find words, her head wasn't even working right. Takai had left a large wound somewhere...In her eye? She thought so, at least. It hurt, but it was numb, almost a strange feeling. It still was uncomfortable, though. Painful, very painful, too. Her back twitched, the wounds searing pain into her very fiber, her every being. It felt as if she was on fire, or something, like she was being burned alive. Though she was trying to ignore it, trying so very hard. And if she would have been alone, she probably would have killed herself, to spare herself the agony of recovering from the horribly devastating wounds her own sibling had inflicted heartlessly upon her.
Recovering. Would she even be able to recover? Of course, the wounds would heal up...And..Her eye. What of it? Well, chances were she was going to be blind...If she even had an eye, still. She couldn't determine what was worse, the pain, or the thought of the future. Of her future? What of it? Probably nothing. Now she was even more like her friend, blinded, and terribly alone. Enough realization to spark depression in anything. She lowered her slender head to the ground, the blood matting her fur together painfully. Spring wasn't supposed to be like this, Nevermore wasn't supposed to attack her. Yet it happened. It had happened, and it felt terrible. The silver she-wolf raised a massive paw over her right eye, pawing her head. It didn't help her, at all. Though it made her feel a bit better emotionally.
She just wanted to crawl into a little corner and die, really. Covering her once-was good eye helped her feel a tiny, minute bit better. Her back twitched again, the blood starting to dry into an ugly brown-ish color on her fur, which made it stick together painfully. It pulled, and was rather uncomfortable, horribly uncomfortable. She wished it would just...Go away. The silver Drappa sighed, biting up a mouthful of dirt and swollowing it, keeping herself from screaming out in agony as her claw hit her closed eyelid. Though it didn't injure the eye further, it hurt like heck, and she didn't like it one bit.

ooc:Now that your back, I will reply! Even if it's way off..I missed roleplaying with Glade and Aoi. They were my favorite "it" couple candidates. -lol-
ic:Sturdy limbs stiffened under dark fur as he observed the scene before him. Her words were like the mist, there but swiftly fading. He dismissed them from his mind, focusing on a single star to the east. Her tainted appearance didn't seem to affect anything within his being, though the deep scars that were sure to be screaming open within the optical instrument that gave a window into the world as the Varg knew it made him shudder at heart.
He remembered the pain that he felt when he recieved his own blindness. The scorching fire not only searing the optic nerve and the cranium surrounding it, but the entire body. Seizures of pain, the shock of how cold the darkness could be.
With the memories, came his old anger. The same anger that had been festering, bubbling, and growing inside, ever since the day of entering the cold haze of blindness.
But he didn't want to sound too mad. He couldn't. He couldn't have done anything about it. It wasn't his job to get into the affairs of any other Varg's but himself. That was what Citali had taught him. There was no other question. His would believe his sister, no matter what his cousin, Drea, said and changed.
"I know. But..Will you be okay?"

[/b] Lol. I'm totally reworking this in my head, so if it's a little off, please excuse it. xP 'Sides, a maddening Aoi sounds a little creepy in my opinion. So maybe I'll keep her sane? The pain was, as expected, rather tough to ignore. Though the fierce onslaught of her injury did little to prevent the feeling of pain. Sighing, she shook her head, instantly wishing she hadn't. Aoi was mildly aware of Glade, standing somewhat close to her, though something else, too. Anger? Soft breath expelled from her ribs, with that, she took another equally long bout of air into her, willing her legs to place themselves correctly under her, in an attempt to walk. Which, she found, she could. No dramatic soap opera for her, no. Ears slipped back on her head, tail drooping to a low, lazy stance. A bird, which sounded moreso like a crow, cawed overhead, the laughter of it's wings only mildly audible to her. Instead of paying much attention to that around her, she focused her attention on keeping everything in her head right. Trying to ignore the pain the best she could, she contemplated what she'd do now. Well, she wouldn't be useless, that was for sure. Glade seemed to be fine with his blindness, perhaps the same luck would befall her? Hoping so, she turned her head slowly to look at him, taking careful mind of every action she did, for fear of hurting her eye even further. Hey, maybe her vision wouldn't totally be gone? No, she dismissed that idea quickly, chances were she wouldn't see squat out of that eye. "I'm fine," She lied, focusing her energy in that second to prevent the grimace working on her maw. Moving her mouth didn't seem to help, either. "Really." She didn't expect Glade to push too far on the subject, unless he really was... worried? No, she'd be fine. So many other varg had gone through similar injuries, right? She was no exception. Feeling the tiniest pang of hope in her, so tiny it was almost drown in the ocean of pain, she mustered up the energy to nod slowly, testing it out before she finished. "It'll just take some time to heal." She laughed, a small, almost squealy laugh, soon stopping herself from the pain it caused her eye. "Just fine."[/ul][/size]
