'We could all go. Surely three wolves hunting together would do better than one or two?' She offered, standing up. Her anger at the Kerl had died down, but her suspicions of him hadn't quite faded all away. But she felt as though she should make it up to him. She and Loka had, perhaps, been a tad rude him earlier.

"Yeah, I guess so..." Loka paused, tearing her eyes away from the Kerl. Perhaps it was just a stage in her life, for she wasn't a big fan of Draggas in general, but she just couldn't keep her eyes off them, specifically younger ones that weren't related to her in any way other than being a fellow Varg under the sun. Yes, she reassured herself, it's only a phase that I enjoy this low-life Kerl's company.
The blond Drappa's tail lifted in the spunky defiance that had already earned her a reputation and place in the pack, her ears erect, her eyes a flaming blue ocean.
"Come on," whispered Loka suddenly, her ears in the direction of the forest. "I heard something over this way."

'That-a-way?' Kylie dropped her voice to barely above a whisper, following Loka's ears. Her own ears pricked forward, eyes shining and her nose twitching once, twice. She didn't seem to have noticed Loka staring at the Kerl.
No, now that they were on the topic of a hunt. She didn't mind hunting with Tempestas and Citali's four cubs, or really even with Kerls for that matter. But she didn't quite like the way the adults would organize themselves, so prepared and confident. It bugged her. And it bugged her that they got their prey most of the time by being so overly confident in their act.
But with wolves her own age, it was different. None of them had quite the experience the rest of the pack had. And they weren't quite so smug about hunting. And they weren't as prepared. Hunting, for her, could be any time of day that she was awake, and could spring up whenever she felt like it.
Kylie dropped into a crouch and slunk forward, seeming to melt away and disappear into the bushes that stood beside them. Only by peering carefully into the foliage could one eventually make out her dark coat, mottled with black and brown.

ooc: sorry i haven't been on much brain block, homework, yada ya
ic: " By the sounds wave pattern and the smell I supect to be a small elk. Easy enough for us all to take down. I'm Caradoc by the way," Caradoc joined in the conversation, feeling a little more welcomed into his new setting. " Now if only we could locate it exactly," he continued, saying so much with even his bit of knowledge he had on hunting. He was almost two and he had to have the maturity in him somewhere. Gathering his thoughts he slouched into the deep feet of snow, pausing for silence of anymore signs of the prey.

Her anger had overtaken her by the time he had gotten to his name. "Shut up, you-" Loka's tongue caught itself before she could sware at the Dragga. The creature, not an elk, but a rather large roe stag, had stopped grazing. Loka held its wide-eyed gaze for only a moment, for in the next it was dashing away accross the clearing.
Loka's legs had never worked so hard, so fast, and had never lost so little energy. The roe strained foreward, leaping behind the gnarled bushes and bare trees, making its way toward a gulley. The blond she-wolf was at the stag's heels, snapping and slavering in her excitement. The spirit of the gods came upon her, and, with a sudden pain, the roe was down.
Loka did not eat it, but stared at the roe with bewilderment. Never had a dead Herla, or any Lera for that matter, look so amazing, and so much in pain. The roe's face was contorted into a pained grimace, the Drappa wondered what it had yelled as its dying words, for Lera can not understand those that are not close to them in species, Loka had heard the stag bellow something as she had brought it down.
"I did it." Loka smiled weakly, all energy gone from her. "I did it!" Her smile broadened, her tail lifted high. But she suddenly thought of the bringing down of the roe, the sudden pain, the sudden red light. Citali's daughter did not know if the pain was her own or the roe's, but hot, fresh blood now poured from her haunch, exactly where she had she had bitten the roe. The injury was not open, it was as though someone had glued blood that still ran onto her fur. She was not dead, she did not go under, Loka felt fine.
What had just happened?

ooc; freaky...
ic: Caradoc stared at Loka's bleeding haunch. His amber swirled orbs grew large as he relized what most likely happened. He swirled around and soon was brought face to.. nothing. He was sure it would have been his father. What had happened? Things were starting to freak him out. He stepped off to the side and crouched down low. He caught the slightest cry of an animal. Then he saw it. One of the largest stag he had ever seen. It was his chance.
He took after it his legs speeding across the snow, his fur blown back by the wind that was being made as he ran. He got faster and faster, kicking up only a small amount of snow as he went. He jumped and started to rip into the neck of the huge Herla. It fought back weakly, but was not near enough to win over the almost 2 year old varg. With the rest of the energy left in his little kerl body he fell with the stag to the ground, his teeth glued to the lera's neck. His maw to forehead covered in blood, he layed there unconcioss from the fall.

Kylie held back slightly. This was, after all, Loka's hunt. She broke into a slow lope, watching as the blonde Drappa raced after the stag, smiling to herself. She would make a good hunter, Kylie was sure.
'Caradoc, wait...' Her words died on her muzzle as the Kerl took off, too, latching himself onto the stag. 'Oh, dear lord...'
From her lope, she stretched into a full-out run toward the Kerl. It was hard to see whether or not the stag's body was pinning him down, and it was hard to tell what had happened. She drew up and stopped short, almost pitching over the stag's body, and lowered her muzzle, nosing at Caradoc.
'Loka!'

Loka whipped around, the pain flooding into her. The woud, somehow was just opened, bleeding and painful, flooding faster than the blood of the dead stag's was. Wincing with pain, Loka came as fast as she could to the side of Kylie, trying to smile as she spotted Kylie eyeing her stag. Loka took no notice to Caradoc, but rolled her eyes at his foolish "attempt".
"What is it?"

'You two are both hurt...?' Kylie caught Loka's wince, though she couldn't see what had happened to the blonde Drappa. 'He's out cold.'
She lowered her muzzle toward the Kerl again, and nudged him once more. It must have been a terrible idea for Caradoc to have sprang at the stag.

"I'm not hurt, it's just some of the stag's blood that got on me...It was hot, alright?" Loka corrected herself, seeing that it the wound didn't look like splashed blood, she tried to make it more convincing sounding.
The blond Drappa turned towards Caradoc, her kindness towards him gone from her eyes. The sun was very low behind the mountains, and she even saw an owl come out to perch on the tree nearby, Tor's face would be rising soon.
"Come on, Kylie, let's just take these two stags and go home. He's out, he'll wake up soon, and, hopefully, won't remember anything."

Kylie blinked. Then she shrugged. 'If you say so, Loka.'
She stared at Caradoc, who lay without moving. It wasn't as if she knew him particularly well, or she liked him at all. But it didn't seem quite right just to leave the Kerl lying there. She caught Loka's gaze.
Who woulda thought...
Then she nodded. 'Alright, then. Have it your way. But he did get that other stag... Shouldn't we... Nevermind.' But wihtout waiting for an answer, she grabbed Caradoc's stag in her jaws.

Caradoc rose slowly as the drappas walked off. "Give me back my kill!" He screamed at Kylie. HE hoped her reaction was to drop it right away, but he had no way of know ing what she would do.

Loka turned to him, the stag's head flopping limply with the sudden, jerky movement. Loka's expression was something that seemed to burn right through the trees, right through the Dragga, right through the very fabric of being. Loka was glaring. She had never glared before, not a true-feeling glare, only a pathetic one at her brothers. This one was harsh and cold, a glare made of ice and fit for Wolfbane.
Loka said nothing, only turned her tail and padded away, flicking her tail as a notion to Kylie to move on. Caradoc was a Kerl, and they were pack Varg. One of them was going to steal the other's prey eventually.
As Loka stalked away, out of the clearing and back to the Twin Trees, she had never looked so ugly. Blood seeped down her leg, deep into the fur. A new wound, now at her chest, had come out of nowhere, but she did not once wince or collapse. She turned back, now, only just outside the little grove where they had captured the magnificent stags, and she said something, her glare harder than ever.
"I hope your father finds you on our lands, Caradoc."

" He won't," Caradoc mumbled under his breath. Finishing out loud, " Besides he hates coming to these lands, and if he doesn't find me by sunrise tommorow it doesn't matter, I'll be mature and on my own. Hmmph," he ended for emphasis. "Sheesh, why does she hate me so much.... wait... that means, I don't understand, understand, Drappaese!!" He walked off a smirky smile on his face, confused fear and hapiness reflecting his unusally non-dull eyes. "What in Ba-..I mean Fenris' name are you doing with my food, kill, junk, whatever you call it? It is mine smart one. Wait I shouldn't talk to Alpha's little princess that way should I??" he snarled hatefully. Where had he gathered this hate, he loved her, wait, what am I thinking, he thought and started to mentally slap himself. He could tell the Drappas were staring at him with a, He's an idiot, look on their face but he wasn't sure since they were stalking away with their backs to back. He swore he let a tear roll down his face, but he couldn't tell since his eyes were cloudy, who knew, he could never explain his deep emotions, espisially being a kerl, maybe he could follow them to their pack and join since he was mature, he is mat-ure. ooc: Thank you Ryan for your word. It is still ok to reply Gina. Tear , Tear , Tears , I'm not that sad so no waterfall.

ooc:MPD!!!! ~spazzes and hides behind your computer~ Oooh...How do I do that...?...Nobody knows....xD Sugar high...Though I only had two small chocolate bars..xD I'm the dead guy that smiles! XD I really need to stop doing that.
ic:Loka listened to his insults with a deaf ear. Though she tried not to pay him any attention, her eyes started to burn with hot tears, but nothing broke. She dropped the stag on her back, snorted, stepped on the head, shattered the stag's skull, and stomped off. She suddenly wasn't hungry, and she really didn't care what her mother would think of her first individual hunt. Shocker.
She stopped in the center of a clearing, lied down, and let her tears melt the snow in front of her maw. She rolled over, and suddenly whispered,
I need a miracle i wanna be your girl Give me a chance to see That you are made for me
I need a miracle please let me be your girl One day you'll see it could happen to me
